Last year, Maif, a research foundation of French origin, presented a call focused on the prevention of accidents in everyday life, which is the third cause of death in France. In this way, organizations and institutions began to develop research projects to develop a prevention service.<\/p>

ReSant\u00e9-Vous, a social enterprise that focuses on providing accompanying services to older adults such as non-pharmacological therapy, rehabilitation and prevention. With the aim of developing a project to participate in the MAIF call, ReSant\u00e9-Vous formed an alliance with Telesalud from the University of Caldas.<\/p>

After visits from Telehealth Caldas to Europe<\/a> and the visit of the European observation mission to Colombia, a year ago it was announced that the Telehealth model would be replicated in France.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition to Telesalud Caldas, which specializes in research and health and telemedicine, ReSant\u00e9-Vous partnered with a group of consultants specializing in occupational health. This working group will develop a collaborative support platform for caregivers, professionals and family members of older adults called "Capaidants".<\/p>

Capaidants will be a resource platform with an intuitive app that will present questions and answers to caregivers in order to offer immediate practical support. In this way, another purpose is to strengthen self-care and psychological support actions, as well as the prevention of home accidents.<\/p>

The Maif Foundation provided support for this project for the next three years, which will begin in September and will undergo a co-construction process with the participation of users to find out its limitations.<\/p>

Esteban Granada Aguirre, director of Telesalud Caldas, explained that it is important to sign this type of agreement since it allows us to continue saving lives through technology through educational techniques, support and teleconsultations in mental health. Telesalud de la Universidad de Caldas colaborar\u00e1 con organizaciones francesas para modelar una plataforma de telepsicolog\u00eda para adultos mayores. El a\u00f1o pasado, Maif, una fundaci\u00f3n de investigaci\u00f3n de origen franc\u00e9s present\u00f3 una convocatoria centrada en la prevenci\u00f3n de accidentes en la vida cotidiana, que es la tercera causa de muerte en Francia. De esta forma, organizaciones e instituciones comenzaron a desarrollar proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n para desarrollar un servicio de prevenci\u00f3n. ReSant\u00e9-Vous, una empresa social que se enfoca en brindar servicios de acompa\u00f1amiento a adultos mayores como terapia no farmacol\u00f3gica, rehabilitaci\u00f3n y prevenci\u00f3n. Con el objetivo de desarrollar un proyecto para participar en la convocatoria de Maif, ReSant\u00e9-Vous form\u00f3 una alianza con Telesalud de la Universidad de Caldas. Luego de las visitas de Telesalud Caldas a Europa y la visita de la misi\u00f3n de observaci\u00f3n europea a Colombia, hace un a\u00f1o fue anunciado que el modelo de Telesalud ser\u00eda replicado en Francia. Adem\u00e1s de Telesalud Caldas, que se especializa en investigaci\u00f3n y salud y telemedicina, ReSant\u00e9-Vous se asoci\u00f3 con un grupo de consultores especializados en salud laboral. Este grupo de trabajo desarrollar\u00e1 una plataforma de apoyo colaborativo para cuidadores, profesionales y familiares de adultos mayores llamada \u201cCapaidants\u201d. Capaidants ser\u00e1 una plataforma de recursos que contar\u00e1 con una aplicaci\u00f3n intuitiva que presentar\u00e1 preguntas y respuestas a los cuidadores con el fin de ofrecer apoyo pr\u00e1ctico de manera inmediata. De esta forma otro de los prop\u00f3sitos es fortalecer las acciones de autocuidado y de apoyo psicol\u00f3gico, as\u00ed como la prevenci\u00f3n de accidentes caseros. La Fundaci\u00f3n Maif, brind\u00f3 el respaldo a este proyecto por los pr\u00f3ximos tres a\u00f1os, el cual iniciar\u00e1 en septiembre y ser\u00e1 sometido a un proceso de co-construcci\u00f3n con la participaci\u00f3n de los usuarios para conocer sus limitaciones.
