The Guanajuato Ministry of Health ranked first nationally in telemedicine care according to data from the 2021 Telehealth annual report of the National Center for Technological Excellence (CENETEC).<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The CENETEC Telehealth Observatory presented the annual report on Telehealth 2021, in which it highlights that more than 8 million telehealth actions were carried out nationwide during the year. Only the state of Guanajuato provided 3 million 341 thousand services divided between teleconsultations, remote monitoring, patient monitoring, remote emergency care, among others.<\/p>

Since 2020, telemedicine care has experienced a significant increase due to the pandemic, however, this has also promoted the development of state strategies to meet the demand for these services. For example, Guanajuato has 44 second level care units, which are aligned with the national strategy "Hospital Seguro", a program focused on responding to emergencies and disasters.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Telemedicine in Guanajuato continues to advance since its implementation in 2014, and was key in the government's response to the health emergency two years ago. \u201cThere is no doubt about the benefits that telehealth provides, allowing access to services such as mental health, which during the COVID-19 contingency added a little more than 49,826 psychological and psychiatric care, in person, via phone and chat,\u201d explained D\u00edaz.<\/p>

In this way, through remote assistance in psychology, it was possible for the Ministry of Health to identify situations and ailments related to mental health, such as anxiety, depression, risk of suicide, addictions, as well as to identify intimate partner violence or domestic violence.<\/p>

The Ministry of Health also launched the web portal dynamically.mx<\/a>, which provides preventive care to people with emotional crises, through chat, or by calling 800 290 0024. These services are attended by psychology professionals 24 hours a day. In 2021, they achieved close to 8,700 sessions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

La Secretar\u00eda de Salud de Guanajuato ocup\u00f3 el primer lugar nacional en atenci\u00f3n por telemedicina seg\u00fan datos del reporte anual de Telesalud 2021 del Centro Nacional de Excelencia Tecnol\u00f3gica (CENETEC). El Observatorio de Telesalud del CENETEC present\u00f3 el reporte anual de Telesalud 2021, en el cual destaca que durante el a\u00f1o se realizaron m\u00e1s de 8 millones de acciones de telesalud a nivel nacional. Tan solo el estado de Guanajuato aport\u00f3 3 millones 341 mil atenciones dividas entre tele asesor\u00edas, monitoreos remotos, seguimiento de pacientes, atenci\u00f3n de urgencias a distancia, entre otros. Desde 2020, las atenciones de telemedicina experimentaron un alza significativa derivada de la pandemia, sin embargo, esto tambi\u00e9n promovi\u00f3 el desarrollo de estrategias estatales para cubrir la demanda de estos servicios. Por ejemplo, Guanajuato cuenta con 44 unidades de segundo nivel de atenci\u00f3n, que se encuentran alineadas con la estrategia nacional “Hospital Seguro”, programa enfocado en la respuesta a emergencias y desastres. \u201cContamos con 645 unidades m\u00e9dicas que trabajan en 15 redes integradas lo que permite mantener la cobertura en todo el territorio estatal, accesibilidad y protecci\u00f3n de la salud\u201d dijo Daniel D\u00edaz, secretario de salud de Guanajuato. La telemedicina en Guanajuato contin\u00faa avanzando desde su implementaci\u00f3n en 2014, y fue clave en la respuesta del gobierno a la emergencia sanitaria de hace dos a\u00f1os. \u201cNo hay duda de los de los beneficios que otorga la telesalud, permitiendo el acceso a servicios como los de salud mental, la cual durante la contingencia del COVID-19 sum\u00f3 un poco m\u00e1s 49 mil 826 atenciones psicol\u00f3gicas y psiqui\u00e1tricas, de manera presencial, v\u00eda telef\u00f3nica y por chat\u201d, explic\u00f3 D\u00edaz. De esta forma, por medio de las atenciones a distancia en psicolog\u00eda, fue posible que la Secretar\u00eda de Salud identificara situaciones y padecimientos relacionados con la salud mental, como la ansiedad, depresi\u00f3n, riesgo de suicidio, adicciones, as\u00ed como identificar violencia de pareja o violencia intrafamiliar. La Secretar\u00eda de Salud tambi\u00e9n puso en marcha el portal web dinamicamente.mx, que brinda atenci\u00f3n preventiva a personas con crisis emocionales, por medio de chat, o llamada telef\u00f3nica al 800 290 0024. Estos servicios son atendidos por profesionales de piscolog\u00eda las 24 horas del d\u00eda.  En 2021, lograron cerca de 8 mil 700 sesiones.
