During the HIMSS Executive Summit Bogot\u00e1, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies (MinTIC), of Colombia, presented its advances around the Electronic Medical Record.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

At the HIMSS Executive Summit that took place in Bogot\u00e1. The theme of the event was "Interoperability and the Digital Transformation Agenda in Health in Colombia" therefore the various advances in the health sector were presented. For its part, the ICT Ministry was in charge of presenting the government's latest achievements on these issues, especially the data interoperability model implemented in the Electronic Medical Record (EHR).<\/p>

In this sense, Carmen Valderrama, the ICT minister, exposed the importance of technologies such as the Internet of things, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Big data. In the same way, he explained how the development of the technological model of interoperability of the EHR and the collaboration with the Ministry of Health took place.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

"This model allows service providers to carry out the exchange of clinical and administrative data of a patient, with the use of international semantic and technical standards," explained the minister. Thanks to this model, it is easier to access the provision of health services in the country, since the exchange of data closes gaps such as geographic location or the various social security regimes.<\/p>

On the other hand, the MinTIC, also presented the new achievements in the strengthening of public hospitals in terms of information technologies. Through the Territorial strategy, the Colombian government promotes Digital Citizen Services throughout the country. In this way, the territorial health entities and the citizens can achieve an easier and more transparent interaction, as explained by Minister Valderrama.<\/p>

Currently, a total of 609 health entities in 28 departments have already been incorporated into the Territorial strategy. The ultimate goal is to reach the 930 public entities in Colombia.<\/p>

Durante el HIMSS Executive Summit Bogot\u00e1, el Ministerio de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y las Comunicaciones (MinTIC), de Colombia, present\u00f3 sus avances alrededor de la Historia Cl\u00ednica Electr\u00f3nica. En el HIMSS Executive Summit que se llev\u00f3 a cabo en Bogot\u00e1. El tema del evento fue \u201cLa Interoperabilidad y la Agenda de la Transformaci\u00f3n Digital en Salud en Colombia\u201d por lo tanto se presentaron los diversos avances en el sector salud. Por su parte el MinTIC se encarg\u00f3 de presentar los \u00faltimos logros del gobierno en estos temas, en especial el modelo de interoperabilidad de datos implementado en la Historia Cl\u00ednica Electr\u00f3nica (HCE). En este sentido, Carmen Valderrama, la ministra de TIC, expuso la importancia de tecnolog\u00edas como el Internet de las cosas, Blockchain, Inteligencia Artificial y Big data. De igual forma explic\u00f3 c\u00f3mo fue el desarrollo del modelo tecnol\u00f3gico de interoperabilidad de la HCE y la colaboraci\u00f3n con el Ministerio de Salud. \u201cEste modelo permite que los prestadores de servicios realicen el intercambio de datos cl\u00ednicos y administrativos de un paciente, con el uso de est\u00e1ndares sem\u00e1nticos y t\u00e9cnicos internacionales\u201d, explic\u00f3 la ministra. Gracias a este modelo, es m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil de acceder a la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios de salud en el pa\u00eds, ya que el intercambio de datos cierra brechas como la ubicaci\u00f3n geogr\u00e1fica o los diversos reg\u00edmenes de seguridad social. Por otra parte, el MinTIC, tambi\u00e9n expuso los nuevos logros en el fortalecimiento de los hospitales p\u00fablicos en materia de tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n. Por medio de la estrategia Territorial, el gobierno de Colombia promueve los Servicios Ciudadanos Digitales en todo el pa\u00eds. De esta forma las entidades territoriales de salud y los ciudadanos pueden lograr una interacci\u00f3n m\u00e1s f\u00e1cil y con mayor transparencia, seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 la ministra Valderrama. Actualmente ya han sido incorporadas a la estrategia Territorial un total de 609 entidades de salud en 28 departamentos. El objetivo final es llegar a las 930 entidades p\u00fablicas de Colombia.
