Although the perfect diet varies for each person, this program seeks to rely on biomedical sciences, Artificial Intelligence (AI), microbiome research to generate new information on personalized nutrition or precision nutrition.<\/p><p>In this sense, the first Strategic Plan for Nutrition Research of the NIH has also been implemented, which contemplates the investigation of how individual human biology, diet, environmental, social and behavioral factors influence health.<\/p><p>For this, the Nutrition for Precision Health program will use data from All of Us, being the first study that takes advantage of the information generated by said research, to find answers to other scientific questions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section interaction between diet, genes, proteins, microbiome, metabolism, and other individual factors.<\/li><li>Use AI to develop algorithms that can predict individual responses to foods and dietary patterns.<\/li><li>Validate algorithms for clinical application.<\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To carry out this important study, five main components are interconnected:<\/p><ul><li>In the first place, the Research Coordination Center, whose purpose is the administrative management of all the components involved.<\/li><li>Next come the Clinical Centers, which are responsible for recruiting, consenting, and enrolling All of Us participants in the nutrition program.<\/li><li>The third component is the Data Generation Centers, which perform various tasks such as:<\/li><\/ul><ol><li>a) Perform genetic analyzes of the human gut microbiome;<\/li><li>b) Perform metabolic analysis;<\/li><li>c) Advanced dietary assessment methods<\/li><\/ol><ul><li>The Center for Artificial Intelligence, Multimodal Data Modeling and Bioinformatics is the fourth component and seeks to establish mathematical and computational models, develop algorithms and improve data visualization.<\/li><li>Finally, the All of Us Biobank receives, processes, and stores the biosamples and metadata.<\/li><\/ul><p>The NIH has provided 170 million dollars for the development of this nutrition study and it has been promoted by the La nutrici\u00f3n no solo es clave para el desarrollo humano, sino tambi\u00e9n para la prevenci\u00f3n y tratamiento de enfermedades. Aunque la dieta perfecta var\u00eda para cada persona, este programa busca apoyarse en las ciencias biom\u00e9dicas, Inteligencia Artificial (IA), investigaci\u00f3n del microbioma para generar nueva informaci\u00f3n sobre la nutrici\u00f3n personalizada o nutrici\u00f3n de precisi\u00f3n. En este sentido tambi\u00e9n ha sido implementado el primer Plan Estrat\u00e9gico para la Investigaci\u00f3n de Nutrici\u00f3n de los NIH, que contempla la investigaci\u00f3n de c\u00f3mo la biolog\u00eda humana individual, la dieta, factores ambientales, sociales y de comportamiento influyen en la salud. Para ello el programa de Nutrition for Precision Health utilizar\u00e1 datos de All of Us, siendo el primer estudio que aprovecha la informaci\u00f3n generada por dicha investigaci\u00f3n, para encontrar respuesta a otras cuestiones cient\u00edficas. El estudio tiene tres objetivos principales: Examinar las diferencias individuales observadas en respuestas a diferentes dietas, mediante el estudio de interacci\u00f3n entre dieta, genes, prote\u00ednas, microbioma, metabolismo y otros factores individuales. Utilizar IA para el desarrollo de algoritmos que puedan predecir respuestas individuales a alimentos y patrones diet\u00e9ticos. Validar algoritmos para la aplicaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica. Para llevar a cabo este importante estudio se encuentran interconectados cinco componentes principales: En primer lugar, el Centro de Coordinaci\u00f3n de Investigaci\u00f3n, cuyo prop\u00f3sito es la gesti\u00f3n administrativa de todos los componentes involucrados. Posteriormente vienen los Centros cl\u00ednicos, que se encargan de reclutar, dar consentimiento e inscribir a los participantes de All of Us en el programa de nutrici\u00f3n. El tercer componente son los Centros de Generaci\u00f3n de Datos, que realizan diversas tareas como: a) Realizar an\u00e1lisis gen\u00e9ticos del microbioma del intestino humano; b) Realizar an\u00e1lisis metab\u00f3licos; c) M\u00e9todos avanzados de evaluaci\u00f3n diet\u00e9tica El Centro de Inteligencia Artificial, Modelado Multimodal de Datos y Bioinform\u00e1tica, es el cuarto componente y busca establecer modelos matem\u00e1ticos y computacionales, desarrollar algoritmos y mejorar la visualizaci\u00f3n de datos. Finalmente, el Biobanco All of Us recibe, procesa y almacena las biomuestras y metadatos.
