The government of the province of Buenos Aires signed an agreement with national authorities to promote remote medical care in the province and the development of research.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Argentina will intervene in a strategy for the technological development of the province of Buenos Aires. One of the projects includes financing for the implementation of the Telemedicine System of the Ministry of Health.<\/p>

The telemedicine initiative will be managed by the Ministry of Health of the province of Buenos Aires and will be supported by the Sadosky Foundation.<\/p>

"After four years of setbacks in the field of science and technology, it was essential to achieve greater articulation between the Government of the Province, the universities and the research centers," explained the governor of the province, Axel Kicillof.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For his part, the province's health minister, Nicol\u00e1s Krepalk, announced that this action will grow the telemedicine network in Buenos Aires and that it will also promote science and innovation. \u201cAs of the pandemic, we underpin the follow-up of the attention and care of our people with telemedicine technological tools,\u201d he added.<\/p>

This strategy follows up on the Telemedicine Centers (Cetec) implemented in universities in the province in which students and volunteers provided their services to remotely care for suspected or confirmed COVID-19 patients.<\/p>

The promotion of a telemedicine system is part of other plans that the national government will carry out in the province of Buenos Aires. To do this, they will invest around 20 billion pesos through the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation to implement and develop various projects. El gobierno de la provincia de Buenos aires firm\u00f3 un convenio con autoridades nacionales para impulsar la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a distancia en la provincia y el desarrollo de la investigaci\u00f3n. El Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n de Argentina, intervendr\u00e1 en una estrategia para el desarrollo tecnol\u00f3gico de la provincia de Buenos Aires. Uno de los proyectos incluye financiamiento para la implementaci\u00f3n del Sistema de Telemedicina del Ministerio de Salud. La iniciativa de telemedicina, ser\u00e1 gestionado por el Ministerio de Salud de la provincia de Buenos Aires y ser\u00e1 apoyado por la Fundaci\u00f3n Sadosky. \u201cDespu\u00e9s de cuatro a\u00f1os de retrocesos en el terreno de la ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda, era fundamental alcanzar una mayor articulaci\u00f3n entre el Gobierno de la Provincia, las universidades y los centros de investigaci\u00f3n\u201d, explic\u00f3 el gobernador de la provincia, Axel Kicillof.
