However, clinical adoption of these innovative tools is limited due to barriers in their implementation. Many models only respond and work across specific data and environments, making widespread adoption more difficult.<\/p><p>Magazine <em>npj Digital Medicine journal<\/em> published the article \u201cClinical Artificial Intelligence Quality Improvement: Towards Continuous Monitoring and Updating of AI Algorithms in Healthcare.\u201d This article explains that the updating of machine learning models and AI must be continuously monitored and updated so that their safety and effectiveness are ensured in the long term.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-1f08ded6 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-equal-height-no\" data-id=\"1f08ded6\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-50 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-35666482\" data-id=\"35666482\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7264b30a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7264b30a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>\u201cTo bring AI to maturity in clinical care, we advocate the creation of hospital units responsible for quality assurance and improvement of these algorithms, which we refer to as \u201cAI-QI\u201d units, the study explains.<\/p><p>The article details that this type of technology is sensitive to changes in the environment, which can lead to a decrease in its effectiveness and performance. Este art\u00edculo explica que la actualizaci\u00f3n de modelos de aprendizaje autom\u00e1ticos e IA, deben monitorearse y actualizarse de manera continua para que su seguridad y efectividad est\u00e9 asegurada a largo plazo. \u201cPara llevar la IA a la madurez en la atenci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica, abogamos por la creaci\u00f3n de unidades hospitalarias responsables del aseguramiento de la calidad y la mejora de estos algoritmos, a las que nos referimos como unidades &#8220;AI-QI\u201d, explica el estudio. El art\u00edculo detalla que este tipo de tecnolog\u00edas son sensibles a los cambios en el entorno, lo que puede llevar a una disminuci\u00f3n en su efectividad y rendimiento. De esta forma, es necesario desarrollar herramientas que mantengan la calidad cl\u00ednica de las herramientas basadas en IA. De esta forma el art\u00edculo explora consideraciones para elegir entre m\u00e9todos que ya han sido aplicados y nuevos modelos innovadores que brinden nuevas soluciones a esta problem\u00e1tica. \u201cEl objetivo del monitoreo de IA es dar la alarma cuando se presenta una variaci\u00f3n por causas especiales y ayudar a los equipos a identificar las correcciones necesarias al modelo o al proceso de generaci\u00f3n\/recopilaci\u00f3n de datos\u201d, explica el estudio.
