In Peru, the telehealth services of the National Institute of Children's Health (INSN) treated more than 16,000 children during the first three months of 2022.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Thanks to the INSN telehealth service, they have been able to serve children and adolescents from various regions of the country through the four axes of telehealth development in Peru: telemedicine, telemanagement, TeleIEC and teletraining.<\/p>

However, it is through telemedicine, where most of the attention to these pediatric patients is carried out, since it involves more medical professionals and patients obtain comprehensive care. In this way, patients receive care in various modalities such as teleorientation, telemonitoring and teleinterconsultation, which facilitates access to specialist care.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In this way, during the first quarter of the year, the INSN attended 3 thousand 293 teleorientations directed by doctors and subspecialists, 5 thousand 108 teleorientations attended by non-medical professionals (nutrition, psychology, nursing, rehabilitation, dentistry, obstetrics and social service).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Likewise, through telemonitoring, they registered 7,236 visits by doctors and 1,349 by other professionals. As for teleinterconsultations, which connect two or more doctors or specialists remotely, 413 were carried out, all by medical personnel from an IPRESS (Health Services Provider Institution).<\/p>

En Per\u00fa, los servicios de telesalud del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Ni\u00f1o (INSN), atendieron a m\u00e1s de 16 mil ni\u00f1os durante los primeros tres meses de 2022. Gracias al servicio de telesalud del INSN, han logrado atender a ni\u00f1as, ni\u00f1os y adolescentes de diversas regiones del pa\u00eds a trav\u00e9s de los cuatro ejes de desarrollo de la telesalud en Per\u00fa: telemedicina, telegesti\u00f3n, TeleIEC y telecapacitaci\u00f3n. Sin embargo, es a trav\u00e9s de la telemedicina, donde se realizan la mayor\u00eda de las atenciones a estos pacientes pedi\u00e1tricos, ya que involucra a m\u00e1s profesionales m\u00e9dicos y los pacientes obtienen una atenci\u00f3n integral. De esta manera, los pacientes reciben atenci\u00f3n en diversas modalidades como, teleorientaci\u00f3n, telemonitoreo y teleinterconsulta, la cual facilita el acceso a la atenci\u00f3n de especialistas. De esta forma, durante el primer trimestre del a\u00f1o el INSN atendi\u00f3 3 mil 293 teleorientaciones dirigidas por m\u00e9dicos y subespecialistas, 5 mil 108 teleorientaciones atendidas por profesionales no m\u00e9dicos (nutrici\u00f3n, psicolog\u00eda, enfermer\u00eda, rehabilitaci\u00f3n, odontolog\u00eda, obstetricia y servicio social). Asimismo, a trav\u00e9s de telemonitoreo, registraron 7 mil 236 atenciones por m\u00e9dicos y mil 349 por otros profesionales. En cuanto a las teleinterconsultas, que conectan a dos o m\u00e1s m\u00e9dicos o especialistas de manera remota, se realizaron 413, todos a cargo de personal m\u00e9dicos de alguna IPRESS (Instituci\u00f3n Prestadora de Servicios de Salud).
