Telemedicine specialists from the Garrahan Hospital in Buenos Aires, made a visit to the health services of the province of Tucum\u00e1n.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Garrahan Hospital team met with authorities from the Tucum\u00e1n Ministry of Public Health, where they highlighted the work carried out in terms of telemedicine and the health information system. In addition, both parties agreed on various criteria on telemedicine care, the Salud Escucha strategy and shift management.<\/p>

In this sense, the director of Medical Technology Management of the Provincial Health System (Si prosa), Luis Rocha, explained that during the pandemic the application of telemedicine, teleconsultations and teleeducation has grown to serve the population during the health emergency.<\/p>

In addition, he explained that initially they had more than 30 offices to offer assistance by teleconsultation. During their stay in Tucum\u00e1n, the specialists also visited the Ni\u00f1o Jes\u00fas hospital, a pediatric hospital that has a telehealth strategy that was key during the pandemic and is still in force.<\/p>

Through this strategy, which was supported by Garrahan, the hospital provides care to pediatric patients using telemedicine, as well as regular monitoring and controls that some chronic patients require.<\/p>

In this way, the coordinator of Networks and Distance Communication of the Garrahan hospital, Antonio Luna, explained that it is important to have a collaborative and shared work agenda at the provincial and national levels in terms of telehealth. Especialistas en telemedicina del Hospital Garrahan de Buenos Aires, realizaron una visita a los servicios de salud de la provincia de Tucum\u00e1n. El equipo del Hospital Garrahan se reuni\u00f3 con autoridades del Ministerio de Salud P\u00fablica de Tucum\u00e1n, donde destacaron el trabajo realizado en cuanto a telemedicina y el sistema inform\u00e1tico en salud. Adem\u00e1s, explic\u00f3 que de manera inicial contaban con m\u00e1s de 30 consultorios para ofrecer atenci\u00f3n de asistencia por teleconsulta. \u201cLa telemedicina lleg\u00f3 para quedarse y ofrecerse como una herramienta fundamental\u201d, mencion\u00f3. Por otra parte, una de las referentes del proyecto de telesalud del Hospital Garrahan, Mar\u00eda Celeste Savignano, explic\u00f3 que durante la visita \u201cPudimos ver reflejado c\u00f3mo, los diferentes hospitales o centros del primer, segundo o tercer nivel, han articulado durante la pandemia todo lo que tiene que ver con la red de servicios de Telesalud poniendo el acento en las diferentes necesidades que present\u00f3 la comunidad y de c\u00f3mo estos servicios, ya saliendo de la tercera ola se fueron adaptando a otras necesidades de la comunidad\u201d. Durante su estancia en Tucum\u00e1n, los especialistas tambi\u00e9n visitaron el hospital del Ni\u00f1o Jes\u00fas, hospital pedi\u00e1trico que cuenta con una estrategia de telesalud que fue clave durante la pandemia y que a\u00fan contin\u00faa vigente. A trav\u00e9s de esta estrategia, que cont\u00f3 con el apoyo del Garrahan, el hospital brinda atenci\u00f3n a pacientes pedi\u00e1tricos utilizando telemedicina, as\u00ed como monitoreo y controles peri\u00f3dicos que requieren algunos pacientes cr\u00f3nicos. De esta forma el coordinador de Redes y Comunicaci\u00f3n a distancia del hospital Garrahan, Antonio Luna, explic\u00f3 que es importante contar con una agenda de trabajo colaborativa y compartida a nivel provincial y nacional en cuanto a telesalud. Asimismo, explic\u00f3 que el balance de la visita fue satisfactorio y resalt\u00f3 la importancia de continuar con el trabajo colaborativo y sobre todo con las estrategias de telesalud, aunque la pandemia se encuentre de salida.
