The Brazilian Chamber of Deputies approved the bill that authorizes and regulates the consensual practice of telehealth at the national level.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After 20 years of the creation of the Brazilian Council of Telemedicine and Telehealth, Brazil will have regulations that allow the practice of telemedicine throughout the country and in all professions related to the health area, which allow this type of care.<\/p>

After two decades in which various groups of deputies promoted legislation on telemedicine and telehealth, medical professionals will be able to provide and offer their services using information and communication technologies (ICT).<\/p>

In this sense, the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) authorized and regulated telemedicine in the country, and published said regulation in the Official Gazette of the Union. The publication highlights aspects of the autonomy of doctors, the first face-to-face consultation, security and confidentiality in the doctor-patient relationship, consent form, medical fees, among others.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In this way, telehealth was defined as the modality of providing health services at a distance through the use of ICT. Likewise, aspects such as the secure transmission of data and information through text, audio, images and other media will be taken care of.<\/p>

Telehealth will be a valid practice in all states and territories of Brazil, so no local or state jurisdiction may interfere in the adoption of this modality. However, it is mandatory for medical professionals to complete a registration with the regional councils of medicine (CRM) in their states.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

La C\u00e1mara de Diputados de Brasil aprob\u00f3 el proyecto de ley que autoriza y regula la pr\u00e1ctica consensuada de la telesalud a nivel nacional. Luego de 20 a\u00f1os de la creaci\u00f3n del Consejo Brasile\u00f1o de Telemedicina y Telesalud, Brasil contar\u00e1 con regulaciones que permiten la pr\u00e1ctica de telemedicina en todo el pa\u00eds y en todas las profesiones relacionadas al \u00e1rea de la salud, que permitan este tipo de atenciones. Luego de dos d\u00e9cadas en las que diversos grupos de diputados impulsaron la legislaci\u00f3n en telemedicina y telesalud, los profesionales m\u00e9dicos podr\u00e1n prestar y ofrecer sus servicios utilizado las tecnolog\u00edas de la informaci\u00f3n y la comunicaci\u00f3n (TIC). En este sentido, el Consejo Federal de Medicina (CFM) autoriz\u00f3 y reglament\u00f3 la telemedicina en el pa\u00eds, y publicaron dicha reglamentaci\u00f3n en el Diario Oficial de la Uni\u00f3n. En la publicaci\u00f3n destacan aspectos sobre la autonom\u00eda de las m\u00e9dicos, la primera consulta presencial, seguridad y confidencialidad en la relaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dico-paciente, formulario de consentimiento, honorarios m\u00e9dicos, entre otros.
