UNICEF created a data platform to consult information on the health of adolescents in countries around the world.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

UNICEF created the adolescent health<\/em> dashboard<\/em>, an interactive platform to consult data on the health of adolescents in each country, as well as demographic indicators and contextual data. In total, the dashboard shows 43 indicators from 203 countries.<\/p>

Likewise, it shows the national policies and plans on the health of young people, especially focused on non-communicable diseases. Likewise, it shows the current state of the laws that allow adolescents to access health services without their parents' consent, taxes on alcoholic and carbonated beverages, and free health services, such as mental health, HIV, contraceptives, vaccination, among others.<\/p>

In another of the platform's tabs, information is displayed on the risk factors that determine the health of adolescents in each country, for example, data on nutrition, behavior, social interactions, education and learning.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The burden of disease is also present on the platform. Through data from the World Health Organization (WHO), diseases, estimated deaths, and statistics by age and sex are classified.<\/p>

The information presented comes from data validated by the WHO, the United Nations Organization, UNICEF itself and other related international organizations and programs.<\/p>

In addition, the data is downloadable, the user can browse the platform, choose the data that interests him and download it in different formats, be it image, PowerPoint, PDF, among others.<\/p>

La UNICEF cre\u00f3 una plataforma de datos, para consultar informaci\u00f3n sobre la salud de los adolescentes en pa\u00edses de todo el mundo. UNICEF cre\u00f3 los Adolescent health dashboards, una plataforma interactiva para consultar datos sobre la salud de los adolescentes en cada pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como indicadores demogr\u00e1ficos y datos contextuales. En total el dashboard, muestra 43 indicadores de 203 pa\u00edses. Asimismo, muestra las pol\u00edticas y planes nacionales, sobre la salud de los j\u00f3venes, especialmente enfocado en enfermedades no transmisibles. De igual forma, muestra el estado actual de las leyes que permiten a los adolescentes a acceder a servicios de salud sin el consentimiento de sus padres, los impuestos en bebidas alcoh\u00f3licas y carbonatadas, y los servicios gratuitos de salud, como salud mental, pruebas de VIH, anticonceptivos, vacunaci\u00f3n, entre otros. En otra de las pesta\u00f1as de la plataforma, se muestra informaci\u00f3n sobre los factores de riesgo que determinan la salud de los adolescentes en cada pa\u00eds, por ejemplo, datos sobre la nutrici\u00f3n, conducta, interacciones sociales, educaci\u00f3n y aprendizaje. La carga de enfermedad tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1 presente en la plataforma. A trav\u00e9s de datos de la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS), se clasifican las enfermedades, muertes estimadas, y estad\u00edsticas por edad y sexo. La informaci\u00f3n presentada proviene de datos validados por la OMS, la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas, la misma UNICEF y otros organismos y programas internacionales relacionados.
