The Ministry of Health of Peru (Minsa) announced the relaunch of Teleattending, a platform that has brought health services closer to thousands of people in the country.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Minsa announced that the Teleattending platform will be relaunched to provide daily teleconsultations and telemedicine care to the population. Through Teleattending, more than 7,000 queries are reported daily, and the people who benefit the most are those who live in remote areas or far from the big cities of Peru.<\/p>

Teleattending is a platform available 24 hours a day, every day of the week, and can be accessed from any device that has an internet connection. Through this platform, it is possible to request, register and follow up on medical consultations carried out through telemedicine.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In this sense, Bernardette Cotrina, general director of the General Directorate of Telehealth, Reference and Emergencies (Digtel), explained that: \u201cWe are relaunching our Telehealth care information system, which is a web platform that allows citizens to access telemedicine care. Access to the platform is simple, the first step is to enter teleattending.minsa.gob.pe<\/a> and fill out a form. Subsequently, it is necessary to select the establishment closest to the user's address and enter the reason for the query.<\/p>

Teleattending has been one of the most important remote health tools that have been implemented in Peru during the pandemic. Since its creation almost two years ago, through Teleattending, 8,000 Minsa health professionals have provided more than 2,700,000 services in various specialties.<\/p>

On the other hand, during the announcement of the relaunch of the platform, the Minsa also reported on the incorporation of 60 new health establishments to the National Telehealth Network (RNT), reaching a total of 2,821 health institutions, which form part of this initiative.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

El Ministerio de Salud de Per\u00fa (Minsa), anunci\u00f3 el relanzamiento de Teleatiendo, una plataforma que ha acercado los servicios de salud a miles de personas en el pa\u00eds. El Minsa anunci\u00f3 que la plataforma Teleatiendo, ser\u00e1 relanzada para brindar teleconsultas diarias y atenci\u00f3n por telemedicina a la poblaci\u00f3n. A trav\u00e9s de Teleatiendo se reportan m\u00e1s de 7 mil consultas diarias, y las personas m\u00e1s beneficiadas son aquellas que viven en zonas remotas o alejadas de las grandes ciudades de Per\u00fa. Teleatiendo es una plataforma disponible las 24 horas del d\u00eda, todos los d\u00edas de la semana, y es posible accesar desde cualquier dispositivo que cuente con una conexi\u00f3n a internet. A trav\u00e9s de esta plataforma, es posible solicitar, registrar y dar seguimiento a consultas m\u00e9dicas realizadas por medio de telemedicina. En este sentido, Bernardette Cotrina, directora general de la Direcci\u00f3n General de Telesalud, Referencia y Urgencias (Digtel), explic\u00f3 que: \u201cEstamos relanzando nuestro sistema de informaci\u00f3n asistencial de Teleatiendo de Telesalud, la cual es una plataforma web que permite a los ciudadanos acceder a una atenci\u00f3n de telemedicina. Pueden ser atendidos por profesionales de la salud de distintas especialidades\u201d. El acceso a la plataforma es sencillo, el primer paso es ingresar a teleatiendo.minsa.gob.pe y completar un formulario. Posteriormente, es necesario seleccionar el establecimiento m\u00e1s cercano al domicilio del usuario y colocar la raz\u00f3n de la consulta. Teleatiendo ha sido una de las herramientas de salud remota m\u00e1s importantes que se han implementado en Per\u00fa durante la pandemia. Desde su creaci\u00f3n hace casi dos a\u00f1os, a trav\u00e9s de Teleatiendo, 8 mil profesionales de la salud Minsa han brindado m\u00e1s de 2 millones 700 mil atenciones en diversas especialidades. Por otra parte, durante el anunci\u00f3 del relanzamiento de la plataforma, el Minsa tambi\u00e9n inform\u00f3 sobre la incorporaci\u00f3n de 60 nuevos establecimientos de salud a la Red Nacional de Telesalud (RNT), llegado a un total de 2 mil 821 instituciones de salud, que forman parte de esta iniciativa.
