Avocado producers from the town of Merced de Patay were able to access telemedicine services for the first time and received medical care in various specialties. This project is part of an initiative supported by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), in collaboration with Agros, a startup from the Piura region, and Smart Doctor.<\/p>

Thanks to this initiative, the producers were able to receive care in general medicine and psychology, by establishing contact with doctors remotely, and without the need for long trips.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cWe seek to connect rural producers with the products and services of the world's digital economy, so that, through their digital identity, they can access services such as 100% online credits, telemedicine, electronic commerce, among others. Pi\u00f1arreta highlighted the importance of technology adapting to people's needs. "Currently we have allied companies that are developing businesses in the rural sector, mutually benefiting the producer," he explained.<\/p>

It should be noted that the startup has been recognized by MIT for the development of this strategy that seeks to contribute to the democratization of digital technologies in the rural sector.<\/p>

Productores de aguacate de la provincia de Tayacaja en el departamento de Huancavelica, accedieron a servicios de telemedicina a trav\u00e9s de un proyecto del startup Agros. Productores de aguacate de la localidad de Merced de Patay lograron acceder por primera vez a servicios de telemedicina y recibieron atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica en diversas especialidades.
