The National Telemedicine Center (Cenate), belonging to the Social Security of Peru (EsSalud) received the ISO 9001: 2015 international certification for achieving high standards for the benefit of its beneficiaries.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Cenate was inaugurated at the end of October 2020, with the aim of providing specialized medical care to EsSalud policyholders who are in remote areas. To date, almost a year and a half after the start of its operations, the Cenate received the ISO 9001:2015 international certification, which recognizes the high standards of medical care for its users.<\/p>

For his part, Dr. Sergio Machado, director of the Cenate, explained that the certification is the result of the efforts of the workers and the reengineering processes that the Cenate has implemented to live up to international standards. EsSalud is one of the institutions that provides the greatest impetus to remote medical care through telemedicine, telehealth and teleconsultations. Currently at the Cenate they offer care in more than 24 medical specialties and exclusive services for COVID-19 patients.<\/p>

During the inauguration of the center in 2020, the then president of EsSalud, Fiorella Molinelli, explained that the Cenate would have the capacity to carry out up to 96 thousand teleconsultations per month. El Centro Nacional de Telemedicina (Cenate), perteneciente al Seguro Social del Per\u00fa (EsSalud) recibi\u00f3 la certificaci\u00f3n internacional ISO 9001: 2015 por alcanzar altos est\u00e1ndares en beneficio de sus derechohabientes. El Cenate fue inaugurado a finales de octubre de 2020, con el objetivo de brindar atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica especializada a asegurados en EsSalud que se encuentran en zonas remotas. Al d\u00eda de hoy, tras casi a\u00f1o y medio del inicio de sus funciones, el Cenate recibi\u00f3 la certificaci\u00f3n internacional ISO 9001:2015, lo que reconoce los altos est\u00e1ndares en la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de sus usuarios. El Organismo Certificador NQA-Latam entreg\u00f3 la certificaci\u00f3n a Gino D\u00e1vila Herrera, presidente ejecutivo de EsSalud. \u201cEstoy orgulloso de este logro, pero al mismo tiempo es una gran responsabilidad que asume la instituci\u00f3n porque se trata de un trabajo permanente de actualizaci\u00f3n ya que el ISO se renueva cada 3 a\u00f1os, pero cada a\u00f1o se realiza una auditor\u00eda para comprobar que se mantiene el est\u00e1ndar de calidad. El objetivo en EsSalud es alcanzar estos est\u00e1ndares de calidad en todos los servicios que brindamos y el Cenate servir\u00e1 de ejemplo\u201d, explic\u00f3 D\u00e1vila Herrera. Por su parte el Dr. Sergio Machado director del Cenate, explic\u00f3 que la certificaci\u00f3n es el resultado del esfuerzo de los trabajadores y de los procesos de reingenier\u00eda que el Cenate ha implementado para estar a la altura de los est\u00e1ndares internacionales. Asimismo, reconoci\u00f3 que EsSalud tiene un compromiso con todos sus asegurados, y m\u00e1s desde el comienzo de la pandemia hace casi dos a\u00f1os. EsSalud, es una de las instituciones que mayor impulso brinda a la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica remota por telemedicina, telesalud y tele interconsultas. Actualmente en el Cenate ofrecen atenci\u00f3n en m\u00e1s de 24 especialidades m\u00e9dicas y servicios exclusivos para pacientes COVID-19.
