The Referential Hospital of Ferre\u00f1afe, together with 28 other first-level health establishments, received new equipment for the exercise of telemedicine, by the Government of Lambayeque.<\/p>

Thanks to an investment of more than 2 million soles (around USD 526,000), the regional government seeks to strengthen telemedicine services and promote teleconsultations and teleinterconsultations. In this way, patients will be able to receive specialized care from health centers near their towns, by connecting with specialists from the Ferre\u00f1afe Reference Hospital.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The acquired equipment includes televisions, teleconference systems, laptops, cameras, printers, scanners, furniture, among others, which seek to promote the use of teleconsultations in selected health facilities.<\/p>

\u201cAs of July 2020, the teleinterconsultation service was implemented, starting with 5 to 6 monthly visits for each establishment. From 2021, they increased to more than 12 and for this year; a goal of 60 visits per month has been established for each establishment\u201d, explained Dr. Vanessa Siapo, head of Telehealth of the Regional Health Management.<\/p>

El Gobierno Regional de Lambayeque, adquiri\u00f3 nuevos equipos para fortalecer los servicios de telemedicina en alrededor de 30 establecimientos de salud. El Hospital Referencial de Ferre\u00f1afe junto con otros 28 establecimientos de salud de primer nivel de atenci\u00f3n recibieron nuevos equipos para el ejercicio de telemedicina, por parte del Gobierno de Lambayeque. Gracias a una inversi\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 2 millones de soles (alrededor de USD 526,000), el gobierno regional busca reforzar los servicios de telemedicina y promover la realizaci\u00f3n de teleconsultas y tele interconsultas. De esta forma los pacientes podr\u00e1n recibir atenci\u00f3n especializada desde centros de salud cercanos a sus localidades, al conectarse con especialistas del Hospital Referencial de Ferre\u00f1afe. El equipo adquirido incluye televisores, sistemas de teleconferencia, laptops, c\u00e1maras, impresoras, esc\u00e1ner, mobiliario, entre otros, que buscan impulsar el uso de teleconsultas en los establecimientos de salud seleccionados. \u201cA partir de julio del 2020, se implement\u00f3 el servicio de tele interconsultas comenzando con 5 a 6 atenciones mensuales por cada establecimiento. Desde el 2021, se incrementaron a m\u00e1s de 12 y para este a\u00f1o; se ha establecido una meta de 60 atenciones mensuales por cada establecimiento\u201d, explic\u00f3 la Dra.
