We first surveyed clinicians to better understand their daily workflows, note-taking practices, views on technology in the clinic, and which note-taking system features would be most beneficial to them. According to the information collected, the PhenoPad prototype was developed, which consists of hardware or a tablet on which you can write directly with a stylus and the audio is captured in the background.<\/p><p>That is, it collects handwriting and speech data, which are sent to a remote server for analysis, and finally these are sent to the device in real time for validation and clinical feedback. In addition, PhenoPad records and captures data from images, drawings, charts, diagrams and even videos taken with the tablet. Un estudio publicado en npj Digital Medicine, presenta un sistema de IA para la toma de notas cl\u00ednicas y la captura de informaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de diversas t\u00e9cnicas como procesamiento de voz, lenguaje natural o reconocimiento de escritura a mano. Este sistema llamado PhenoPad, fue desarrollado por cient\u00edficos de la Universidad de Toronto, as\u00ed como investigadores de hospitales de Toronto y el Instituto de Inteligencia Artificial de Toronto. PhenoPad, tiene como prop\u00f3sito transformar autom\u00e1ticamente la informaci\u00f3n del paciente a formatos digitales que pueden ser integrados con registros m\u00e9dicos electr\u00f3nicos y de esta forma mejorar la facilidad y amplitud de la informaci\u00f3n capturada durante visitas cl\u00ednicas futuras. Adem\u00e1s, ante la gran cantidad de datos que genera una visita cl\u00ednica de un paciente, resultados de ex\u00e1menes, pruebas de laboratorio, entrevistase entre otras, algunos m\u00e9dicos no logran homogenizar los datos que recolectan. Lo que representa mayor impacto en el flujo de trabajo para los m\u00e9dicos y en algunos casos hasta doble carga de trabajo. \u201cProponemos un marco que integra tecnolog\u00edas de IA de forma activa en la interacci\u00f3n entre pacientes y m\u00e9dicos. Primero encuestamos a los m\u00e9dicos para comprender mejor sus flujos de trabajo diarios, pr\u00e1cticas de toma de notas, puntos de vista sobre la tecnolog\u00eda en la cl\u00ednica y qu\u00e9 funciones del sistema de toma de notas ser\u00edan m\u00e1s beneficiosas para ellos. Con base en los resultados, desarrollamos PhenoPad, una interfaz m\u00f3vil para tomar notas de forma libre y capturar informaci\u00f3n fenot\u00edpica est\u00e1ndar en una tableta a trav\u00e9s de una variedad de modalidades\u201d, explica el estudio. Este sistema fue probado a trav\u00e9s de una serie de encuestas a m\u00e9dicos de Ontario para conocer en primer lugar los m\u00e9todos y enfoques m\u00e1s comunes para tomar notas. De acuerdo a la informaci\u00f3n recolectada se desarroll\u00f3 el prototipo de PhenoPad, que consiste en un hardware o una tableta en la que se puede escribir directamente don un l\u00e1piz \u00f3ptico y el audio se captura en segundo plano. Es decir, recolecta datos de escritura a mano, y habla, que son enviados a un servidor remoto para su an\u00e1lisis, finalmente estos se env\u00edan a dispositivo en tiempo real para su validaci\u00f3n y retroalimentaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica. Asimismo, PhenoPad, registra y captura datos de im\u00e1genes, dibujos cuadros, diagramas e incluso videos tomados con la tableta.
