In this sense, NLP is part of what we know as Artificial Intelligence (AI), and is related to other technologies such as deep learning and machine learning.<\/p><p>For example, NLP can be used for article analysis and medical research. By means of text extraction techniques, which are later interpreted as numbers, articles and research or any other primary source can be found that accurately show the topics, words, and other concepts that are chosen.<\/p><p>However, this is only one of its applications. In this way, they carry out an analysis of individual words, of structured sentences, their interpretation and their context.<\/p><p>Johnathan Hartmann, who works as a clinical informatician at Georgetown University, explained in an interview with the specialized site HealthITAnalytics, the relevance of NLP in patient care and clinical research: &quot;I work a lot with doctors and talk to them about the data search. Their main complaint is that they can&#039;t quickly extract the precise information they want when they do a search. The search is very imprecise. It takes too much time and too much work for them to get the information they want.\u201d<\/p><p>In addition, he explained that this tool allows doctors to obtain a greater number of clinical research articles and texts in less time. In addition, the extraction of information is precise, so it not only saves time in searches but also in reading and discriminating information.<\/p><p>Also, NLP can be used in the diagnosis of diseases. El NLP, es una disciplina que estudia el uso de computadoras para interpretar y analizar el lenguaje natural, es decir el lenguaje humano hablando. En este sentido el NLP, forma parte de lo que conocemos como Inteligencia Artificial (IA), y se relaciona con otras tecnolog\u00edas como el aprendizaje profundo y el aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico. Por ejemplo, el NLP puede utilizarse para el an\u00e1lisis de art\u00edculos e investigaciones m\u00e9dicas. Por medio de t\u00e9cnicas de extracci\u00f3n de texto, que posteriormente se interpretan como n\u00fameros, se pueden encontrar art\u00edculos e investigaciones o cualquier otra fuente primaria que muestren exactamente los temas, palabras, y otros conceptos que se elijan. No obstante, esta es solo una de sus aplicaciones. El ejemplo anterior utiliza un modelo l\u00f3gico en el que los ling\u00fcistas escriben las reglas y definen los patrones que el algoritmo debe reconocer. Adem\u00e1s, existen otros modelos probabil\u00edsticos del lenguaje natural que se basan en datos, este modelo contrario al anterior, exige que los ling\u00fcistas sean quienes hagan una recolecci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n, para que el NLP pueda calcular la probabilidad de que palabras u oraciones espec\u00edficas aparezcan en textos de contextos determinados. Los componentes del NLP son el an\u00e1lisis morfol\u00f3gico o l\u00e9xico, an\u00e1lisis sint\u00e1ctico, an\u00e1lisis sem\u00e1ntico y an\u00e1lisis pragm\u00e1tico. De esta forma realizan un an\u00e1lisis de palabras individualmente, de oraciones estructuradas, su interpretaci\u00f3n y su contexto. Johnathan Hartmann, que se desempe\u00f1a como inform\u00e1tico cl\u00ednico en la Universidad de Georgetown, explic\u00f3 en entrevista con el sitio especializado HealthITAnalytics, la relevancia del NLP en la atenci\u00f3n a pacientes y en la investigaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica: \u201cTrabajo mucho con m\u00e9dicos y hablo con ellos sobre la b\u00fasqueda de datos. Su principal queja es que no pueden extraer r\u00e1pidamente la informaci\u00f3n precisa que desean cuando realizan una b\u00fasqueda. La b\u00fasqueda es muy imprecisa. Les lleva demasiado tiempo y demasiado trabajo obtener la informaci\u00f3n que desean\u201d. Adem\u00e1s, explic\u00f3 que esta herramienta permite que los m\u00e9dicos obtengan una mayor cantidad de art\u00edculos y textos de investigaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica en menor tiempo. Adem\u00e1s, la extracci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n es precisa, por lo que no solo ahorra tiempo en las b\u00fasquedas sino en la lectura y discriminaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n. Asimismo, el NLP puede utilizarse en el diagn\u00f3stico de enfermedades. Al aplicar dicha tecnolog\u00eda en la clasificaci\u00f3n de registros m\u00e9dicos electr\u00f3nicos, informes de laboratorio, ecocardiogramas, u otras im\u00e1genes m\u00e9dicas.
