The National Center for Telemedicine (Cenate) belonging to the Social Security of Peru (EsSalud) has provided around 1.7 million services since its opening more than a year ago.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

From opening in October 2020<\/a> The Cenate del Seguro EsSalud has provided telemedicine care to hundreds of thousands of Peruvians in different modalities and specialties. For example, in terms of specialized remote care for patients who suffered from COVID-19, Cenate specialists provided 291,438 remote consultations, with the regions of Lima, Jun\u00edn, Cusco and Arequipa using the service the most.<\/p>

Thanks to the remote monitoring of patients, it is possible to know the consequences that the virus can leave and identify persistent symptoms in recovered people. In addition, the Cenate computer equipment allows interaction between professionals who are physically with patients and has the ability to carry out interconsultations with specialists from hospitals in other regions of the country.<\/p>

The Cenate team consists of 45 health professionals who consult from Monday to Saturday from 8 AM to 8 PM, in this way they have managed to attend more than a thousand daily teleconsultations.<\/p>

El Centro Nacional de Telemedicina (Cenate) perteneciente al Seguro Social del Per\u00fa (EsSalud) ha brindado alrededor de 1.7 millones de atenciones desde su apertura hace m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o. Desde su inauguraci\u00f3n en octubre de 2020 el Cenate del Seguro EsSalud ha atendido por telemedicina a cientos de miles de peruanos en distintas modalidades y especialidades. Por ejemplo, en cuanto a atenciones remotas especializadas para pacientes que padecieron COVID-19, los especialistas del Cenate brindaron 291 mil 438 consultas remotas, siendo las regiones de Lima, Jun\u00edn, Cusco y Arequipa las que utilizaron m\u00e1s el servicio. En este sentido los asegurados de EsSalud que sufrieron COVID-19, recibieron un paquete integral de tratamiento posCOVID-19, que incluy\u00f3 planes de nutrici\u00f3n, psicolog\u00eda, medicina familiar, rehabilitaci\u00f3n, medicina y terapia f\u00edsica. Todos estos servicios se realizan de manera remota gracias a los profesionales que trabajan en el Cenate. Gracias al monitoreo remoto de los pacientes, es posible conocer las secuelas que puede dejar el virus e identificar los s\u00edntomas persistentes en las personas recuperadas. Adem\u00e1s, la terapia tiene como objetivo recuperar las capacidades de movilidad y respiratorias del paciente. Adem\u00e1s, el equipo de c\u00f3mputo del Cenate permite la interacci\u00f3n entre profesionales que se encuentran f\u00edsicamente con los pacientes y tiene la capacidad de realizar interconsultas con especialistas de hospitales de otras regiones del pa\u00eds. El equipo del Cenate consta de 45 profesionales de la salud quienes consultan de lunes a s\u00e1bado de 8 AM a 8 PM, de esta forma han logrado atender m\u00e1s de mil teleconsultas diarias. Con respecto a todas las atenciones que ha brindado el Cenate a m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o de apertura, EsSalud ha registrado alrededor de un mill\u00f3n 700 mil atenciones para sus asegurados.
