The Government of Bolivia, through the Ministry of Health and Sports (Minsalud), presented the new digital vaccination card against COVID-19 and the mobile application to verify its authenticity.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Ministry of Health, through its head, Jeyson Auza, announced the launch of the mobile application "United against COVID", which will allow the population to digitally obtain a card that verifies their anti-COVID vaccination.<\/p>

Thanks to the use of QR codes, the app will allow users to show their proof of vaccination safely and with high security standards. The director of the Agency for Electronic Government and Information and Communication Technologies (AGETIC), Vladimir Ter\u00e1n, explained that the app can verify the QR code even without an internet connection.<\/p>

\u201cIf someone wants to generate their digital vaccination card, go to the page of the Ministry of Health to the United Against COVID application, to the Digital Citizenship page and start their process, which has three simple steps,\u201d explained Minister Auza.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Users must first enter the Ministry of Health page (https:\/\/sus.minsalud.gob.bo\/#vacuna)<\/a>. Then they must select the section "Nominal Electronic Vaccination Registry". The minister explained that both the printed and digital document will come into force on January 1, 2022 throughout the country. "This is a process in which we have been working for months that allows us to give the Bolivian population certainty that the document they are presenting is valid, the QR will go directly to our database," he concluded.<\/p>

El Gobierno de Bolivia, a trav\u00e9s del Ministerio de Salud y Deportes (Minsalud), present\u00f3 el nuevo carnet digital de vacunaci\u00f3n contra COVID-19 y la aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil para verificar su autenticidad. El director de la Agencia de Gobierno Electr\u00f3nico y Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y las Comunicaciones (AGETIC), Vladimir Ter\u00e1n, explic\u00f3 que la app puede verificar el c\u00f3digo QR incluso sin conexi\u00f3n a internet. “Si alguien quiere generar su carnet de vacunaci\u00f3n digital entra a la p\u00e1gina del Ministerio de Salud a la aplicaci\u00f3n Unidos Contra el COVID, a la p\u00e1gina de Ciudadan\u00eda Digital e inicia su proceso que tiene tres pasos sencillos”, explic\u00f3 el ministro Auza. Primero los usuarios deben ingresar a la p\u00e1gina del Minsalud (https:\/\/sus.minsalud.gob.bo\/#vacuna). Luego deber\u00e1n seleccionar el apartado “Registro Nominal de Vacunaci\u00f3n Electr\u00f3nica”.  Y finalmente el usuario debe introducir su n\u00famero de ID y fecha de nacimiento, lo que de forma autom\u00e1tica generar\u00e1 la tarjeta de vacunaci\u00f3n.
