The event aimed to recognize and disseminate experiences of the countries in terms of telehealth, telemedicine, teleeducation and other relevant topics such as health promotion and epidemiological surveillance. In addition, it also functioned as a celebration of the organization&#039;s 50th anniversary.<\/p><p>The contest received 18 experiences on these issues from Bolivia, Ecuador and Peru. Through educational talks on health issues in remote communities, this strategy aimed to prevent diseases, promote healthy lifestyles and encourage self-care of health.<\/p><p>&quot;In a friendly format, simple and accessible language, with a moderator and speakers who facilitate interaction with the public and a variety of topics based on the prevalence and incidence of preventable and controllable diseases, as well as current issues&quot;, explained Edith Pariona Director of Health Info.<\/p><p>The second place went to the project &quot;Collaboration Network of Volunteer Brigade Members for the Investigation, Detection and Primary Management of Community Cases Affected by Severe COVID-19 (COVIDA Project)&quot;, of the INSP and the UNMSM Faculty of Medicine.<\/p><p>COVIDA, aimed at the design and implementation of a system for telemonitoring and teleorientation of patients with severe cases of COVID-19. The strategy allowed these types of patients to receive timely care in specialized health facilities. El evento \u201cExperiencias Significativas en Telesalud en la Regi\u00f3n Andina\u201d organizado por el ORAS-CONHU, cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de los ministerios de salud de los seis pa\u00edses andinos, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Per\u00fa y Venezuela. El evento tuvo como objetivo, reconocer y difundir experiencias de los pa\u00edses en cuanto a telesalud, telemedicina, teleeducaci\u00f3n y otros temas relevantes como la promoci\u00f3n de la salud y la vigilancia epidemiol\u00f3gica. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n funcion\u00f3 como celebraci\u00f3n del 50 aniversario de la organizaci\u00f3n. El concurso recibi\u00f3 18 experiencias en estos temas provenientes de Bolivia, Ecuador y Per\u00fa. Los tres primeros premios se los llev\u00f3 Per\u00fa, gracias a proyectos del Ministerio de Salud del Per\u00fa (Minsa), el Instituto Nacional de Salud (INS), la Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (UNMSM) y el Instituto Nacional Materno Perinatal (INMP). El primer puesto fue para el proyecto \u201cLlevando Tele Informaci\u00f3n, Educaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n en temas de salud a todo el Per\u00fa\u201d, implementado por la Direcci\u00f3n de Infosalud y la Direcci\u00f3n General de Telesalud, Referencia y Urgencias (Digtel) del Minsa. El proyecto como lo dice su nombre, fue una estrategia para llevar servicios de informaci\u00f3n y educaci\u00f3n sobre temas de salud a todo el pa\u00eds. Dicho proyecto tambi\u00e9n cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de la unidad de Tele Informaci\u00f3n, Educaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n (Tele IEC). A trav\u00e9s de charlas educativas en temas de salud en comunidades remotas, esta estrategia tuvo como objetivo la prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades, promover estilos de vida saludables y fomentar el autocuidado de la salud. \u201cEn un formato amigable, lenguaje sencillo y asequible, con un moderador y ponentes que facilitan la interacci\u00f3n con el p\u00fablico y una variedad de temas en base a la prevalencia e incidencia de enfermedades prevenibles y controlables, as\u00ed como temas coyunturales\u201d, explic\u00f3 Edith Pariona directora de Infosalud. El segundo puesto fue para el proyecto \u201cRed de Colaboraci\u00f3n de Brigadistas Voluntarios para la Investigaci\u00f3n, Detecci\u00f3n y Manejo Primario de Casos Comunitarios Afectados por COVID-19 Severo (Proyecto COVIDA)\u201d, del INSP y la Facultad de Medicina de la UNMSM. COVIDA, tuvo como objetivo el dise\u00f1o e implementaci\u00f3n de un sistema para el telemonitoreo y teleorientaci\u00f3n de pacientes de casos severos de COVID-19.&nbsp; La estrategia permiti\u00f3 que este tipo de pacientes recibieran atenci\u00f3n oportuna en establecimientos de salud especializados. COVIDA fue desarrollado con financiamiento del Fondo Nacional de Desarrollo Cient\u00edfico, Tecnol\u00f3gico y de Innovaci\u00f3n Tecnol\u00f3gica (FONDECYT). El Tercer puesto fue para \u201cTeleobstetricia salud sexual y reproductiva en tiempos de COVID 19 en el instituto nacional materno perinatal 2020-2021\u201d, que fue puesto en marcha por el INMP. El objetivo del proyecto fue fomentar estilos de vida saludable en poblaci\u00f3n en edad f\u00e9rtil y mujeres gestantes a trav\u00e9s de servicios educativos sobre educaci\u00f3n sexual, salud reproductiva, planificaci\u00f3n familiar, y m\u00e1s, mediante el uso de servicios remotos. Adicionalmente, se alinea con tres de los objetivos del desarrollo sostenible, como salud y bienestar, igualdad de g\u00e9nero y reducci\u00f3n de desigualdades.
