Through a telemedicine pilot plan, a remote ultrasound demonstration was carried out in Peru using 5G technology. This exercise connected Dr. Enrique Gil from the Delgado clinic in Lima with Dr. Carla Uriarte, who was in Chiclayo with the patient. A trav\u00e9s de un plan piloto de telemedicina, en Per\u00fa se realiz\u00f3 una demostraci\u00f3n de una ecograf\u00eda a distancia a utilizando tecnolog\u00eda 5G. Esta cual logr\u00f3 conectar a un especialista en Lima, con una paciente en Chiclayo, a 772 km de distancia. El programa piloto de telemedicina se realiz\u00f3 gracias al software e infraestructura de telecomunicaciones. La demostraci\u00f3n de ecograf\u00eda tuvo como objetivo demostrar el potencial que tiene la tecnolog\u00eda 5G en Per\u00fa. “Las posibilidades son infinitas y es una oportunidad para el Per\u00fa y la industria de poner al pa\u00eds un paso m\u00e1s adelante que la regi\u00f3n al ofrecer una tecnolog\u00eda como \u00e9sta\u201d, asegur\u00f3 Ramiro Lafarga, CEO de Entel, la compa\u00f1\u00eda responsable del proyecto. Este ejercicio conect\u00f3 al Dr. Enrique Gil de la cl\u00ednica Delgado en Lima, con la Dra. Carla Uriarte, quien se encontraba en Chiclayo con la paciente. El Dr. Gil realizaba movimientos a trav\u00e9s de un joystick, para indicar a la profesional en Chiclayo las indicaciones para llevar a cabo la ecograf\u00eda. De esta forma, la Dra. Uriarte por su parte, recibi\u00f3 las instrucciones a trav\u00e9s de las vibraciones de un guante con sensores, que se coloc\u00f3 en la mano izquierda. La tecnolog\u00eda 5G utilizada cuenta con una velocidad de transferencia desde 10 hasta 100 veces mayor al 4G, adem\u00e1s de utilizar una banda milim\u00e9trica de 39 GHz. \u201cEsto es un espectro y ancho de frecuencia poco imaginable hasta hace poco para redes de acceso inal\u00e1mbricas, y que puede ofrecer velocidades en el orden de los Gbps en el caso de uso final, con latencias muy pr\u00f3ximas de Cero; pudiendo asignar diversos niveles de servicio seg\u00fan la criticidad de la aplicaci\u00f3n\u201d, explic\u00f3 V\u00edctor C\u00e1rdenas, gerente de negocios para Entel Per\u00fa.
