The "Digital Transformation in Health Day: exchange on strategies to strengthen health information systems and emerging challenges", aimed to strengthen the resources available in the country, and generate new strategies to bring the tools closer to those responsible for health information management systems, at the national and provincial levels.<\/p>

The meeting was organized by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation, and the Sadosky Foundation. It is proposed that this type of event on digital transformation will be repeated during 2022.<\/p>

The undersecretary for Science, Technology and Innovation Policies, Cecilia Sleiman, explained the importance of the joint work between the Ministry of Science and the Ministry of Health \u201cworking together with the Ministry of Health has always been essential and very fruitful. In this sense, the national director of Information Systems of the Health portfolio, Cintia Speranza, presented the digital transformation strategy for inclusion, whose axes are the promotion of the Electronic Medical Record (EHR) and its implementation in medical centers. of attention. On the other hand, Speranza highlighted the importance of the creation of integrated digital agendas, the implementation of the interoperable digital recipe, data governance and cybersecurity, and the training of professionals for digital transformation.<\/p>

Fernando Peirano, president of the National Agency for the Promotion of Research, Technological Development and Innovation, said the following about the possibilities of improving access to health systems: "We understand that science and technology allow expanding health in Argentina, improve its quality and access, but it is also an opportunity to redefine the systems of which we are part, because the heart of the systems is us, the people. El Gobierno de Argentina, realiz\u00f3 una jornada para fortalecer la gesti\u00f3n de los sistemas de de salud y la generaci\u00f3n de estrategias en ciencia de datos, inteligencia artificial y modelos de gobernanza de datos en el sector salud. La \u201cJornada de Transformaci\u00f3n Digital en Salud: intercambio sobre las estrategias de fortalecimiento de los sistemas de informaci\u00f3n en salud y desaf\u00edos emergentes\u201d, tuvo como objetivo fortalecer los recursos disponibles en el pa\u00eds, y generar nuevas estrategias para acercar las herramientas a los responsables de los sistemas de gesti\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n en salud, a nivel nacional y provincial. El encuentro fue organizado por el Ministerio de Salud y el Ministerio de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n, y la Fundaci\u00f3n Sadosky. Se plantea que este tipo de eventos sobre transformaci\u00f3n digital se repitan durante 2022. La subsecretar\u00eda de Pol\u00edticas en Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n, Cecilia Sleiman, explic\u00f3 la importancia del trabajo conjunto entre el Ministerio de Ciencia y el Ministerio de Salud \u201cel trabajo en conjunto con el Ministerio de Salud siempre ha sido imprescindible y muy fruct\u00edfero. Esta capacitaci\u00f3n marca otro paso m\u00e1s en ese camino y es, adem\u00e1s, un hito dentro del proceso de transformaci\u00f3n digital de los servicios de salud, una de las misiones establecidas en el Desaf\u00edo Nacional denominado Salud Accesible, Equitativa y de Calidad, en el marco del Plan Nacional de Ciencia, Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n 2030\u201d. En este sentido, la directora nacional de Sistemas de Informaci\u00f3n de la cartera de Salud, Cintia Speranza, present\u00f3 la estrategia de transformaci\u00f3n digital para la inclusi\u00f3n, que tiene como ejes, el impulso de la Historia Cl\u00ednica Electr\u00f3nica (HCE) y su implementaci\u00f3n en centros de atenci\u00f3n. El avance de la HCE en Argentina ha sido notable durante los \u00faltimos dos a\u00f1os, pues a mayo de 2021, se registraron m\u00e1s de mil 100 establecimientos que contaban con esta herramienta, un incremento de 53% con respecto a 2019. Por otra parte, Speranza, resalt\u00f3 la importancia de la creaci\u00f3n de agendas digitales integradas, la implementaci\u00f3n de la receta digital interoperable, la gobernanza de datos y ciberseguridad, y la formaci\u00f3n de profesionales para la transformaci\u00f3n digital. Fernando Peirano, presidente de la Agencia Nacional de Promoci\u00f3n de la Investigaci\u00f3n, el Desarrollo Tecnol\u00f3gico y la Innovaci\u00f3n, dijo lo siguiente sobre las posibilidades de mejorar el acceso a los sistemas de salud: \u201cEntendemos que la ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda permiten expandir la salud en Argentina, mejorar su calidad y el acceso, pero tambi\u00e9n es una oportunidad para redefinir los sistemas de los cuales formamos parte, porque el coraz\u00f3n de los sistemas somos nosotros, las personas. Tenemos que pensar la regulaci\u00f3n, el aprovechamiento, las aplicaciones, las gobernanzas de todo este sistema. Ese es el desaf\u00edo \u00faltimo de esta experiencia\u201d.
