The Home Care Program (Padomi) of the Social Health Insurance of Peru (EsSalud), provided more than 800 thousand teleconsultations in 2021.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Padomi is the EsSalud program that is responsible for providing care to the insured population over 80 years of age, it specializes mainly in home care, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they adopted the remote care modality. In addition, teleconsultations were the service most used by Padomi during 2021.<\/p>

El Padomi, carried out more than one million care for older adults so far in 2021. 362 thousand of the actions corresponded to home care; 800 thousand to teleconsultations; 70 thousand to laboratory procedures; as well as 510 thousand deliveries of medicines at home.<\/p>

In this way, adults aged 80 and over in Peru, who are insured by EsSalud, can permanently access doctors and specialists 24 hours a day. El Programa de Atenci\u00f3n Domiciliaria (Padomi) del Seguro Social de Salud de Per\u00fa (EsSalud), brind\u00f3 m\u00e1s de 800 mil teleconsultas en 2021. Padomi es el programa de EsSalud que se encarga de brindar atenci\u00f3n a la poblaci\u00f3n asegurada mayor de 80 a\u00f1os, se especializa principalmente en la atenci\u00f3n domiciliaria, sin embargo, debido a la pandemia por COVID-19 adoptaron la modalidad de atenci\u00f3n a distancia.  Adem\u00e1s, las teleconsultas fueron el servicio m\u00e1s utilizado por el Padomi durante el 2021. El Padomi, realiz\u00f3 m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de atenciones a adultos mayores en lo que va de 2021. Los servicios brindados fueron atenci\u00f3n domiciliaria, teleconsultas, procedimientos de laboratorio y entrega de medicamentos a domicilio. 362 mil de las acciones correspondieron a atenci\u00f3n domiciliaria; 800 mil a teleconsultas; 70 mil a procedimientos de laboratorio; as\u00ed como 510 mil entregas de medicamentos a domicilio. De esta forma los adultos de 80 a\u00f1os y m\u00e1s en Per\u00fa, que est\u00e9n asegurados por EsSalud, pueden acceder permanentemente a m\u00e9dicos y especialistas las 24 horas del d\u00eda. Asimismo, como parte de la atenci\u00f3n domiciliaria, cuentan con el servicio de hospitalizaci\u00f3n en casa y monitoreos por telemedicina.
