This allows countries to measure the level of maturity of each of the strategic areas: data and information management; governance and public policies; information and knowledge management; and innovation. This exercise was carried out since 2016, before the pandemic, according to D&#039;Agostino.<\/p><p>Regarding the most recent actions, in February of this year, an exercise was carried out with various countries in the region in search of building solutions for specific contexts. explained the specialist.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-7d5369f4 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-equal-height-no\" data-id=\"7d5369f4\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-4378e9df\" data-id=\"4378e9df\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4b8388cf elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4b8388cf\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>These are the eight principles and their objectives:<\/p><ul><li>Universal connectivity: Ensure universal connectivity in the health sector by 2030.<\/li><li>Digital Public Goods: Cooking Digital Public Health Goods for a More Equitable World.<\/li><li>Inclusive digital health: Accelerate towards inclusive digital health with an emphasis on the most vulnerable.<\/li><li>Interoperability: Implement interoperable, open and sustainable digital health and information systems.<\/li><li>Human rights: Mainstream human rights in all areas of the digital transformation in health.<\/li><li>Artificial Intelligence: Engage in global cooperation on artificial intelligence and any emerging technology.<\/li><li>Information security: Establish trust and information security mechanisms in the digital environment of public health.<\/li><li>Public health architecture: Designing the architecture of public health in the age of digital interdependence.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u201cToday more than ever a multisectoral approach is required, but above all an interdisciplinary one. Today is the moment where you touch the professions have something to contribute at the same level in health issues, this is key to understand, since technological issues have always been considered as something complementary and were hardly part of a discussion of priorities or of formulation or evaluation of public policies\u201d, explained D&#039;Agostino as part of his reflections.<\/p><p>Finally, the Digital Health specialist called for the reduction of inequities and gaps so that people in the region who do not have internet access can connect. Para la creaci\u00f3n y selecci\u00f3n de los ocho principios participaron organizaciones como la misma RECAINSA, el Hospital Italiano de Buenos Aires, el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, entre otras. Dentro de las acciones regionales que dieron origen a los principios para la transformaci\u00f3n digital, se encuentra el IS4H (Information Systems for Health) y su modelo de madurez de cinco niveles. Este permite que los pa\u00edses midan el nivel de madurez de cada una de las \u00e1reas estrat\u00e9gicas:&nbsp; gesti\u00f3n de datos e informaci\u00f3n; gobernanza y pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas; gesti\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n y conocimientos; e innovaci\u00f3n. Este ejercicio fue realizado desde 2016, antes de la pandemia, seg\u00fan apunta D\u2019Agostino. Sobre las acciones m\u00e1s recientes, en febrero de este a\u00f1o, se realiz\u00f3 un ejercicio con diversos pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n en b\u00fasqueda de construir soluciones para contextos espec\u00edficos. Para ello fueron tomados en cuenta las cuatro \u00e1reas estrat\u00e9gicas. Finalmente, el Marco de Sistemas de Informaci\u00f3n para la Salud y sus cuatro \u00e1reas estrat\u00e9gicas, que era el modelo utilizado por la OPS\/OMS antes de la pandemia, fue actualizado a los 8 principios rectores de la transformaci\u00f3n digital del sector salud. \u201cEsto lo hicimos con mucha convicci\u00f3n, hace dos semanas cumplimos cinco a\u00f1os con IS4H, que nos ha dado una base s\u00f3lida, para hoy poder avanzar hacia este concepto de la transformaci\u00f3n digital del sector de la salud\u201d, explic\u00f3 el especialista. Estos son los ochos principios y sus objetivos: Conectividad universal: Asegurar conectividad universal en el sector salud para 2030. Bienes p\u00fablicos digitales: Cocear bienes de salud p\u00fablica digitales por un mundo m\u00e1s equitativo. Salud digital inclusiva: Acelerar hacia una salud digital inclusiva con \u00e9nfasis en los m\u00e1s vulnerables. Interoperabilidad: Implementar sistemas de informaci\u00f3n y salud digital interoperables, abiertos y sostenibles. Derechos humanos: Transversalizar los derechos humanos en todas las \u00e1reas de la transformaci\u00f3n digital en salud. Inteligencia artificial: Participar en la cooperaci\u00f3n mundial sobre inteligencia artificial y cualquier tecnolog\u00eda emergente. Seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n: Establecer mecanismos de confianza y seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n en el entorno digital de la salud p\u00fablica. Arquitectura de salud p\u00fablica: Dise\u00f1ar la arquitectura de la salud p\u00fablica en la era de la interdependencia digital. \u201cHoy m\u00e1s que nunca se requiere un enfoque multisectorial, pero sobre todo interdisciplinario. Hoy es el momento donde tocas las profesiones tienen algo que aportar en el mismo nivel en los temas de salud, esto es clave de entender, ya que siempre se han considerado a los temas tecnol\u00f3gicos como algo complementario y dif\u00edcilmente formaban parte de una discusi\u00f3n de prioridades o de formulaci\u00f3n o evaluaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas\u201d, explic\u00f3 D\u2019Agostino como parte de sus reflexiones.
