The Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Colombia (Minsalud), presented the mobile application Minsalud Digital, during an international congress on Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The new Minsalud Digital mobile application was presented by Minister Fernando Ruiz, during the International ICT Congress Andicom 2021. The main objective is to bring Colombians closer to and connect with the health system, since through the app they will be able to access to vaccination records, identification of risks by age, among other functionalities.<\/p>

"We hope that through the Digital Ministry, the citizens' system can be adjusted and that it is not the last link in the chain," explained Minister Ruiz. In addition, he explained that the new application took into account all the development of Coronapp, the application launched by the Minsa for the control of the pandemic, which had more than 11 million users. "We will transform it into an application that provides services to citizens and connects them with the health system," he explained.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Regarding the electronic medical record, which could be added to the Digital Ministry in the future, he mentioned that the ICT Office of the Ministry of Health, the Planning Office and the World Bank have worked to achieve its implementation in the country.<\/p>

Digital Agenda in Colombia<\/strong><\/p>

Regarding the Digital Health agenda in Colombia, he explained that the interoperability<\/a> of the clinical history is one of the most important points. In addition, they also have other important elements such as the Health Data Analytics Unit, the new Minsalud Digital app, online vaccination certificates, a contract portal, an integrated subsystem for effective provision of health services and technologies, an integrated subsystem for Financial information and the Digital Health Conpes.<\/p>

El Ministerio de Salud y Protecci\u00f3n Social de Colombia (Minsalud), present\u00f3 la aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil Minsalud Digital, durante un congreso internacional de Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n (TIC). El objetivo principal es acercar y conectar a los colombianos con el sistema de salud, ya que a trav\u00e9s de la app podr\u00e1n tener acceso a registros de vacunaci\u00f3n, identificaci\u00f3n de riesgos por edad, entre otras funcionalidades. \u201cEsperamos que a trav\u00e9s de Minsalud Digital se pueda ajustar el sistema de los ciudadanos y que no sea el \u00faltimo eslab\u00f3n de la cadena\u201d, explic\u00f3 el ministro Ruiz.  Adem\u00e1s, detall\u00f3 que la nueva aplicaci\u00f3n tom\u00f3 en cuenta todo el desarrollo de Coronapp, la aplicaci\u00f3n que lanz\u00f3 el Minsa para el control de la pandemia, la cual lleg\u00f3 a tener m\u00e1s de 11 millones de usuarios. \u201cLa transformaremos en una aplicaci\u00f3n que brinde los servicios a los ciudadanos y los conecte con el sistema de salud\u201d, explic\u00f3. En cuanto a la historia cl\u00ednica electr\u00f3nica, que podr\u00eda ser a\u00f1adida a Minsalud Digital en un futuro, mencion\u00f3 que la Oficina TIC del Ministerio de Salud, la Oficina de Planeaci\u00f3n y el Banco Mundial, han trabajado para lograr su implementaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds. \u201cLa historia cl\u00ednica electr\u00f3nica es un elemento fundamental que nos puede dar mayor continuidad asistencial, permite la toma de decisiones m\u00e9dicas, mejorar\u00e1 la calidad de la atenci\u00f3n salud, de manera coordinaci\u00f3n entre prestadores y mejora la resolutividad\u201d, explic\u00f3. Agenda Digital en Colombia Sobre la agenda de Salud Digital en Colombia explic\u00f3 que la interoperabilidad de la historia cl\u00ednica es uno de los puntos m\u00e1s importantes. Adem\u00e1s, tambi\u00e9n cuentan con otros elementos importantes como la Unidad de anal\u00edtica de datos en salud, la nueva app Minsalud Digital, los certificados de vacunaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea, portal de contratos, subsistema integrado de prestaciones efectivas de servicios y tecnolog\u00edas en salud, subsistema integrado de Informaci\u00f3n financiera y el Conpes de Salud Digital.
