In April 2020<\/a> Google and Apple announced the development of an API system for the detection of COVID-19 cases, which would later be included in the updates of their respective operating systems. In Latin America, the Government of Uruguay was the first country <\/a>\u00a0in enabling this technology to alert about COVID-19 infections.<\/p>

For iOS devices, it is also activated from Settings, where it is necessary to search for \u201cExposure Notifications\u201d, and continue the country and state selection process and accept the terms.<\/p>

This tool does not use geolocation since it is based on Bluetooth, and it does not share data from your Google or Apple account. Nor does it record personal data or send information to external servers since the entire process is carried out from the mobile phone.<\/p>

As mentioned before, the Exposure Notifications tool is part of an update to the Google and Apple operating systems, so there is no need to download any additional applications. In addition, it does not need Wifi or mobile data to work.<\/p>

El gobierno del Estado de Puebla habilit\u00f3 la opci\u00f3n de Alerta COVID Puebla en dispositivos m\u00f3viles, una herramienta de rastreo de contactos que de manera an\u00f3nima te informa si has estado en contacto con alg\u00fan caso positivo a COVID-19. En abril de 2020 Google y Apple, anunciaron el desarrollo de un sistema API, para la detecci\u00f3n de casos de COVID-19, que posteriormente ser\u00eda incluido en las actualizaciones de sus respectivos sistemas operativos. En Latinoam\u00e9rica el Gobierno de Uruguay fue el primer pa\u00eds  en habilitar esta esta tecnolog\u00eda para alertar sobre contagios de COVID-19. El sistema de contact tracing o rastreo de contactos, funciona a trav\u00e9s de Bluetooth en dispositivos m\u00f3viles. Usuarios que han obtenido un resultado positivo a una prueba COVID-19 pueden decidir si quieren notificar a los dem\u00e1s usuarios de un posible contacto, los usuarios no contagiados recibir\u00e1n una \u201cNotificaci\u00f3n de Exposici\u00f3n\u201d un mensaje que indica que han estado cerca de un caso positivo. El Gobierno del Estado de Puebla a trav\u00e9s de la Secretar\u00eda de Salud ha decidido habilitar esta funci\u00f3n bajo el nombre Alerta COVID Puebla, la cual requiere la activaci\u00f3n manual desde las configuraciones del tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil.   Para habilitar la opci\u00f3n Alerta COVID Puebla en dispositivos Android, es necesario ir a Configuraci\u00f3n, seleccionar el apartado \u201cGoogle\u201d y activar la opci\u00f3n de \u201cNotificaci\u00f3n de Exposici\u00f3n\u201d, seleccionar el pa\u00eds y estado y aceptar los t\u00e9rminos. Al activar esta opci\u00f3n es necesario que el Bluetooth del dispositivo permanezca encendido. Para dispositivos iOS, de igual forma se activa desde Configuraci\u00f3n, donde es necesario buscar \u201cNotificaciones de Exposici\u00f3n\u201d, y continuar el proceso de selecci\u00f3n de pa\u00eds y estado y aceptar los t\u00e9rminos. Esta herramienta no utiliza geolocalizaci\u00f3n ya que est\u00e1 basada en Bluetooth, adem\u00e1s no comparte datos de tu cuenta de Google ni de Apple. Tampoco registra datos personales ni env\u00eda informaci\u00f3n a servidores externos ya que todo el proceso se realiza desde el tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil. Como se mencion\u00f3 antes, la herramienta de Notificaciones de Exposici\u00f3n, es parte de una actualizaci\u00f3n de los sistemas operativos de Google y Apple, por lo que no es necesario descargar ninguna aplicaci\u00f3n adicional.
