The Peruvian Ministry of Health (Minsa) collaborated with the Peruvian Army (EP) to strengthen the capacity of its telemedicine services. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The EP seeks to implement new telehealth services, for which they collaborated with various agencies of the General Directorate of Telehealth, Reference and Emergencies of the Minsa, such as Infosalud.<\/p>

Similarly, the EP received advice from the Telehealth Unit of the National Institute of Children's Health (INSN) and the National Telehealth Center of EsSalud. They received training on the regulations of telehealth processes and remote consultations, as well as training on the provision of remote services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

A total of 15 doctors and health professionals from the army received a series of trainings to implement telemedicine in the Health Service Provider Institutions (IPRESS), managed by the EP. The objective of this strategy is to increase the coverage of specialized and sub-specialized services.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Another of the purposes of the development of telehealth services in the EP is that more of its IPRESS join the National Telehealth Network (RNT). Since 2017, the RNT has added more than 2,600 IPRESS, of which 32 belong to the EP.<\/p>

Colonel EP, Enrique Puente, highlighted the importance of telemedicine to bring medical attention to the population of the most remote areas within the country. El Ministerio de Salud de Per\u00fa (Minsa) colabor\u00f3 con el Ejercito del Per\u00fa (EP) para reforzar la capacidad de sus servicios de telemedicina. El EP busca implementar nuevos servicios de telesalud, por lo que colaboraron con diversos organismos de la Direcci\u00f3n General de Telesalud, Referencia y Urgencias del Minsa, como Infosalud. De igual forma el EP recibi\u00f3 asesor\u00edas por parte de la Unidad de Telesalud del Instituto Nacional de Salud del Ni\u00f1o (INSN) y del Centro Nacional de Telesalud de EsSalud. Recibieron capacitaci\u00f3n sobre la normatividad de los procesos de telesalud y consultas remotas, as\u00ed como capacitaciones sobre la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios a distancia. En total 15 m\u00e9dicos y profesionales de la salud del ej\u00e9rcito, recibieron una serie de capacitaciones para implementar la telemedicina en las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios de Salud (IPRESS), que maneja el EP. El objetivo de esta estrategia es incrementar la cobertura de servicios especializados y sub especializados. Otro de los prop\u00f3sitos del desarrollo de servicios de telesalud en el EP, es que m\u00e1s de sus IPRESS se sumen a la Red Nacional de Telesalud (RNT). Desde el 2017, la RNT ha sumado m\u00e1s de 2 mil 600 IPRESS, de las cuales 32 pertenecen al EP.
