During their visit to Europe, Caldas Telehealth authorities created alliances with European institutions that seek to implement their Telemedicine ROUTE model.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After the visit of the European Observation Mission to Caldas in may this year<\/a>, and the visit of Caldas Telehealth authorities to Spain<\/a> and France between September and October. They have managed to form an academic mobility alliance to implement the Caldas Telemedicine Route to Europe model in communities in France.<\/p>

The Telehealth team worked for more than a month with researchers from the LHUMAIN laboratory at the Paul Val\u00e9ry University of Montpellier III in France. During their stay they visited several towns and met with public authorities, academics and health institutions to present their model.<\/p>

The cities that were part of the tour in France were Adge, Nime, S\u00e9te, Castelnau, Perpignan, Montpellier and Paris, in which it was sought to evaluate the operation of the available technologies and verify that it was an optimal scenario to implement a telemedicine model.<\/p>

"We were received by several very important institutions that are endorsing and seeking to work with us in this international collaboration and with government authorities with whom we seek to manage more resources to strengthen this alliance," said Esteban Granada, director of Telehealth.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Telehealth reported on three short-term partnerships:\u00a0<\/p>

  1. Alliance with the Le Fil \u00e0 Metisser Association of Perpignan and the Castelnau-le-Lez clinic, work is being done to develop a telepsychology project to benefit the vulnerable population of that region.<\/li>
  2. Project with delegates from WHO Europe, working on the need to contribute and seek resources to strengthen the telemedicine model on both continents and participation in different academic settings.<\/li>
  3. Project with SAMU (National Model of Emergency Medical Care) in Paris, a collaborative work that allows, through the use of Caldas Telehealth technology and the care model, to contribute to different cases such as vital emergencies or medical emergencies.<\/li><\/ol>

    These alliances were made through the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Minciencias), the Government of Caldas and the Caldas Health Territory.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    Durante su visita a Europa autoridades de Telesalud Caldas, crearon alianzas con instituciones europeas que buscan implementar su modelo de la RUTA de la Telemedicina. Tras la visita de la Misi\u00f3n de Observaci\u00f3n Europea a Caldas en mayo de este a\u00f1o, y la visita de autoridades de Telesalud Caldas a Espa\u00f1a y Francia entre septiembre y octubre. Han logrado formar una alianza de movilidad acad\u00e9mica para implementar el modelo de la Ruta de la Telemedicina a Europa de Caldas en comunidades de Francia. El equipo de Telesalud trabaj\u00f3 durante m\u00e1s de un mes con investigadores del laboratorio LHUMAIN de la Universidad Paul Val\u00e9ry de Montpellier III en Francia. Durante su estancia visitaron varias poblaciones y se reunieron con autoridades p\u00fablicas, acad\u00e9mica e instituciones de salud para presentar su modelo. Las ciudades que formaron parte del recorrido en Francia fueron Adge, Nime, S\u00e9te, Castelnau, Perpignan, Montpellier y Par\u00eds, en ellas se busc\u00f3 evaluar el funcionamiento de las tecnolog\u00edas disponibles y verificar que fuera un escenario \u00f3ptimo para implementar un modelo de telemedicina. \u201cFuimos recibidos por varias instituciones muy importantes que est\u00e1n avalando y buscan trabajar con nosotros en esta colaboraci\u00f3n internacional y con autoridades gubernamentales con las cuales buscamos gestionar m\u00e1s recursos para poder fortalecer esta alianza\u201d, expres\u00f3 Esteban Granada director de Telesalud. Telesalud inform\u00f3 sobre tres alianzas a corto plazo:  Alianza con la Asociaci\u00f3n le Fil \u00e0 Metisser de Perpignan y la cl\u00ednica de Castelnau-le-Lez se trabaja en desarrollar un proyecto de telepsicolog\u00eda para beneficiar poblaci\u00f3n vulnerable de dicha regi\u00f3n. Proyecto con delegados de la OMS Europa se trabaja en la necesidad de aportar y buscar recursos que permitan fortalecer el modelo de telemedicina en ambos continentes y la participaci\u00f3n en diferentes escenarios acad\u00e9micos. Proyecto con SAMU (Modelo Nacional de Atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica de Urgencias) en Paris, un trabajo colaborativo que permita que a trav\u00e9s del uso de la tecnolog\u00eda de Telesalud Caldas y el modelo de atenci\u00f3n se logre aportar a los diferentes casos como urgencias vitales o urgencias m\u00e9dicas. Estas alianzas se realizaron a trav\u00e9s del apoyo del Ministerio de Ciencia Tecnolog\u00eda e Innovaci\u00f3n (Minciencias), la Gobernaci\u00f3n de Caldas y Territorial de Salud de Caldas.
