The National Center for Health Information Systems (CENS) of Chile awarded Care You, a Chilean startup, the first accreditation of the Seal of Quality for Telemedicine Platforms.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The CENS presented in January of this year the Seal of Quality for the Evaluation of Telemedicine Practices<\/a> through specialized software. The purpose of which is to evaluate and measure in a reproducible and standardized manner, the technical and clinical quality of a software product used for the provision of telemedicine services.<\/p>

The CENS seeks to achieve high quality standards in the application of software in the health ecosystem, especially in telemedicine. In this sense, the National Health Fund (Fonasa) announced that they have approved the first certification of a teleconsultation platform with the CENS Quality Seal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This is the Chilean startup Care You, a platform that seeks to digitize continuous care processes, therefore, they offer a telemedicine platform and digital clinical records that evaluate and measure certain variables and goals of each patient.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Care You will now be able to register their platform to the Fonasa system, as explained by the executive director of the technology center, Dr. May Chomali: \u201cOnce companies obtain certification, they have the possibility of registering their telemedicine platforms with FONASA. For doctors or physiotherapists who work from home and want to use public insurance bonds, they can do so as long as they use certified platforms; Only in this way can they be registered for this type of benefit,\u201d he said.<\/p>

Fonasa, together with CENS, seek to promote good practices in telemedicine, and regulate platforms so that patients receive quality services. El Centro Nacional en Sistemas de Informaci\u00f3n en Salud (CENS) de Chile entreg\u00f3 a Care You startup chileno, la primera acreditaci\u00f3n del Sello de Calidad a Plataformas de Telemedicina. El CENS, present\u00f3 en enero de este a\u00f1o el Sello de Calidad para la Evaluaci\u00f3n de las Pr\u00e1cticas de Telemedicina a trav\u00e9s de software especializados. El cual tiene como prop\u00f3sito evaluar y medir de manera reproducible y estandarizada, la calidad t\u00e9cnica y cl\u00ednica de un producto software utilizado para la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios de telemedicina. El CENS busca alcanzar altos est\u00e1ndares de calidad en la aplicaci\u00f3n de software en el ecosistema de salud, especialmente en telemedicina. En este sentido, el Fondo Nacional de Salud (Fonasa), anunci\u00f3 que han aprobado la primera certificaci\u00f3n a una plataforma de teleconsulta con el Sello de Calidad del CENS. Se trata del startup chileno Care You, una plataforma que busca la digitalizaci\u00f3n de procesos de cuidado continuo, por lo tanto, ofrecen una plataforma de telemedicina y registros cl\u00ednicos digitales que eval\u00faan y miden ciertas variables y metas de cada paciente. Care You ahora podr\u00e1 inscribir su plataforma al sistema de la Fonasa, seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 la directora ejecutiva del centro tecnol\u00f3gico, la Dra. May Chomali: \u201cUna vez que las empresas obtienen la certificaci\u00f3n, tienen la posibilidad de inscribir sus plataformas de telemedicina en FONASA. Para los m\u00e9dicos o kinesi\u00f3logos, que trabajan desde su casa y quieran usar bonos del seguro p\u00fablico, pueden hacerlo en la medida que utilicen plataformas certificadas; solo de esa forma se podr\u00e1n inscribir para este tipo de prestaciones\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3. La Fonasa de la mano del CENS buscan promover las buenas pr\u00e1cticas en telemedicina, y regular las plataformas para que los pacientes reciban servicios de calidad.
