On September 13 of this year, the Ministry of Health and the Undersecretary for Integration of Health and Primary Care systems announced the development of new policies to promote Digital Health legislation in Argentina.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The Institute of Strategic Studies and International Relations (IEERI) and the Circle of Legislators of the Nation (CLNA) will work together with the Health Observatory of the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires (CBA), to update the regulatory map of Digital Health, which it was announced in September in the official gazette of the Government of Argentina.<\/a> Which seeks to promote legislation in favor of this sector of public health.<\/p>

This collaboration aims to "review and update the regulations related to new technologies and innovation that grant new rights framed in health citizenship," explained Horacio Pernasetti, vice president of IEERI.<\/p>

On the other hand, Dr. Marisa Aizenberg, professor at the UBA, explained that the agreement aims to carry out actions to face the challenges posed by Digital Health and recognized that: \u201cThe irruption of technologies and the use of electronic devices, monitoring devices, media, social networks and interactions on the Internet in the health sector are producing a profound transformation in the models of health care and management\u201d.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

For his part, Dr. Claudio Mate, on behalf of the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation, explained that digital transformation is a debate that gained momentum due to the pandemic, since it accelerated times and meant that it was no longer just discussed. in the academic sector. \u201cYou have to put health within the reach of people to improve their quality of life. We must equalize the rights between health professionals and patients,\u201d he explained.<\/p>

Sol Garc\u00eda Gili, who works as academic coordinator at the Health Observatory of the Faculty of the UBA, highlighted the importance of ethical-legal frameworks "that allow rapid adaptation of health organizations, as a clear opportunity to improve conditions of equity and access to health, but also of more and better rights for health citizens\u201d.<\/p>

El 13 de septiembre de este a\u00f1o el Ministerio de Salud y la Subsecretar\u00eda de Integraci\u00f3n de los sistemas de Salud y Atenci\u00f3n Primaria anunciaron el desarrollo de nuevas pol\u00edticas para promover la legislaci\u00f3n de la Salud Digital en Argentina. El Instituto de Estudios Estrat\u00e9gicos y Relaciones Internacionales (IEERI) y el C\u00edrculo de Legisladores de la Naci\u00f3n (CLNA) trabajar\u00e1n en conjunto con el Observatorio de Salud de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de Buenos Aires (CBA), para actualizar el mapa normativo de Salud Digital, que fue anunciado en septiembre en el bolet\u00edn oficial del Gobierno de Argentina. El cual busca promover la legislaci\u00f3n en favor de este sector de la salud p\u00fablica. Esta colaboraci\u00f3n tiene como objetivo \u201crevisar y actualizar las normas vinculadas a las nuevas tecnolog\u00edas e innovaci\u00f3n que otorguen nuevos derechos enmarcados en ciudadan\u00eda sanitaria\u201d, explic\u00f3 Horacio Pernasetti, vicepresidente del IEERI. El evento de presentaci\u00f3n de la colaboraci\u00f3n estuvo a cargo de Daniel Basile presidente del CLNA, quien confi\u00f3 en que el acuerdo ser\u00e1 clave para monitorear, recolectar y analizar datos que guiar\u00e1n al sistema de salud a ser m\u00e1s eficiente, equitativo y sostenible. Por otra parte, la Dra. Marisa Aizenberg, docente de la UBA, explic\u00f3 que el acuerdo tiene como objetivo realizar acciones frente a los desaf\u00edos que plantea la Salud digital y reconoci\u00f3 que: \u201cLa irrupci\u00f3n de las tecnolog\u00edas y el uso de dispositivos electr\u00f3nicos, aparatos de seguimiento, medios, redes sociales e interacciones en Internet en el sector sanitario, est\u00e1n produciendo una profunda transformaci\u00f3n en los modelos de atenci\u00f3n y gesti\u00f3n en salud\u201d. Por su parte, el Dr. Claudio Mate en representaci\u00f3n de la C\u00e1mara de Diputados de la Naci\u00f3n, explic\u00f3 que la transformaci\u00f3n digital es un debate que tom\u00f3 mayor fuerza debido a la pandemia, ya que aceler\u00f3 los tiempos e hizo que ya no se discutiera solamente en el sector acad\u00e9mico. \u201cHay que poner la salud al alcance de las personas para mejorar su calidad de vida. Debemos igualar los derechos entre los profesionales de la salud y los pacientes\u201d, explic\u00f3. Sol Garc\u00eda Gili, quien se desempe\u00f1a como coordinadora acad\u00e9mica en el Observatorio de Salud de la Facultad de la UBA, resalt\u00f3 la importancia de los marcos \u00e9tico-legales \u201cque permitan una r\u00e1pida adaptaci\u00f3n de las organizaciones sanitarias, como una clara oportunidad de mejorar las condiciones de equidad y acceso a la salud, pero tambi\u00e9n, de m\u00e1s y mejores derechos para los ciudadanos sanitarios”.
