On September 6, 2021, the agreement issuing the National Digital Strategy 2021-2024 was published in the Official Gazette of the Federation (DOF). <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The National Digital Strategy (EDN) is a set of actions that the Government of Mexico carries out and will carry out to promote the use and development of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), especially Internet connectivity.<\/p>

The EDN has two axes of action: the Digital Policy in the Federal Public Administration (APF) and the Digital Social Policy. The first seeks to transform the APF using ICT to improve and make transparent government services provided to the population; and the second seeks to increase Internet coverage throughout the country and connect the most vulnerable and remote areas, which will facilitate their integration into productive activities.<\/p>

As part of the Digital Social Policy axis of action, it is sought that health centers and hospitals have wireless internet, in addition to other spaces such as schools, public squares or highways.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition to promoting connectivity so that hospitals can provide telemedicine services and strengthen the exchange of health data between institutions. The EDN also seeks to promote the use of new technologies for the integration of institutional databases, with the aim of concentrating, sharing and standardizing information from government systems, including the health system.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Another of the specific objectives is "to promote the development of infrastructure, platforms, architectures, technical standards, systems and user-friendly computer interfaces, interoperable with other technical elements, scalable, durable and replicable."<\/p>

El 6 de septiembre de 2021, fue publicado en el Diario Oficial de la Federaci\u00f3n (DOF) el acuerdo por el que se expide la Estrategia Digital Nacional 2021-2024. La Estrategia Digital Nacional (EDN) es un conjunto de acciones que el Gobierno de M\u00e9xico realiza y realizar\u00e1 para promover el uso y desarrollo de las Tecnolog\u00edas de la Informaci\u00f3n y Comunicaci\u00f3n (TIC), especialmente la conectividad a Internet. La EDN tiene dos ejes de acci\u00f3n la Pol\u00edtica Digital en la Administraci\u00f3n P\u00fablica Federal (APF) y la Pol\u00edtica Social Digital. Mediante la primera se busca transformar la APF utilizando TIC para mejorar y transparentar servicios de gobierno que se brindan a la poblaci\u00f3n; y con la segunda se busca incrementar la cobertura de Internet en todo el pa\u00eds y comunicar las zonas m\u00e1s vulnerables y alejadas, lo que facilitar\u00e1 su integraci\u00f3n a actividades productivas. Como parte del eje de acci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica Social Digital, se busca que centros de salud y hospitales cuenten con internet inal\u00e1mbrico, adem\u00e1s de otros espacios como escuelas, plazas p\u00fablicas o carreteras. Adem\u00e1s de promover la conectividad para que hospitales puedan prestar servicios por telemedicina y fortalecer el intercambio de datos de salud entre instituciones. La EDN tambi\u00e9n busca promover el uso de nuevas tecnolog\u00edas para la integraci\u00f3n de bases de datos institucionales, con el objetivo de concentrar, compartir y estandarizar la informaci\u00f3n de los sistemas gubernamentales, incluido el sistema de salud. Otro de los objetivos espec\u00edficos es \u201cpromover el desarrollo de infraestructura, plataformas, arquitecturas, normas t\u00e9cnicas, sistemas e interfaces inform\u00e1ticas amigables con las personas usuarias, interoperables con otros elementos t\u00e9cnicos, escalables, perdurables y replicables\u201d. La EDN est\u00e1 fundamentada en el art\u00edculo 6 de la Constituci\u00f3n Pol\u00edtica de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos y se alinea a diversas leyes federales y ha entrado en vigor desde el 6 de septiembre de este a\u00f1o.
