The Central American Network of Health Informatics (Recainsa), announced that on September 30 they will hold the virtual seminar: Digital Health based on Open Source.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Recainsa explains that open source is a philosophy that encourages collaboration between members of the programming community. It is based on intellectual freedoms and five fundamental principles: transparency, collaboration, supply, inclusion and community.<\/p>

Thanks to open source, the exchange of ideas for software has been achieved, which has led to creative, scientific and, of course, technological progress. Through open source u open source<\/em>, sectors such as education, government, legislative, health and manufacturing or industry have benefited.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Within health there are some main methods, such as offering services, maintenance and development. Latin America, unlike Regions such as Europe, does not have such a large diffusion.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

However, in countries such as Honduras and Colombia, Digital Health solutions based on open source have been used, such as DHIS2, one of the most important software in this area for the health sector. These softwares allow the clinical management of patients, or the surveillance of public health problems, such as pandemics or regional epidemics.<\/p>

La Red Centroamericana de Inform\u00e1tica en Salud (Recainsa), anunci\u00f3 que el 30 de septiembre llevar\u00e1n a cabo el seminario virtual: Salud Digital basada en C\u00f3digo Abierto. Recainsa, explica que el c\u00f3digo abierto es una filosof\u00eda que fomenta la colaboraci\u00f3n entre miembros de la comunidad de programadores. Est\u00e1 basada en las libertades intelectuales y en cinco principios fundamentales: transparencia, colaboraci\u00f3n, suministro, inclusi\u00f3n y comunidad. Gracias al c\u00f3digo abierto se ha logrado el intercambio de ideas para software, lo que ha propiciado el avance creativo, cient\u00edfico y por supuesto tecnol\u00f3gico. A trav\u00e9s del c\u00f3digo abierto u open-source, se han beneficiado sectores como el educativo, gubernamental, legislativo, sanitario y de manufactura o industrial. Dentro de la salud existen algunos m\u00e9todos principales, como ofrecer servicios, mantenimiento y desarrollo. Am\u00e9rica Latina a diferencia de Regiones como europeas, no cuenta con una difusi\u00f3n tan grande. Sin embargo, en pa\u00edses como Honduras y Colombia, se han utilizado soluciones de Salud Digital basadas en c\u00f3digo abierto como DHIS2 uno de los softwares m\u00e1s importantes en este rubro para el sector salud.
