The Telemedicine Route of the University of Caldas, in Colombia, will implement its care model in cities in France and Spain.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After 20 years of work by the University of Caldas in conjunction with other government agencies, and after successfully bringing medical care to remote areas of Colombia during the pandemic, its model will be replicated in Spain and France.<\/p>

During the visit of the European Observation Mission<\/a> Last May at the University of Caldas, they announced that the Caldas Telemedicine Route model would be used to bring telemedicine care to remote areas of France.<\/p>

\u201cFor more than 20 years, the entire team has given everything so that projects go ahead and the community is the one that benefits the most in health matters, seeking to improve the quality of life, the opportunity in care and, above all, save lives through responsible use of technology\u201d, explained Esteban Granada, director of Telehealth.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In Spain, the project, which includes the Government of Caldas, the Territorial Directorate of Health of Caldas and the University and its Telehealth section, will receive recognition for the efficient management of the pandemic in Colombia.<\/p>

So far, more than a million people have benefited from the actions of Telesalud Caldas throughout Colombia and around 340,000 in Caldas alone.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Durante la visita de la Misi\u00f3n de Observaci\u00f3n Europea en mayo pasado a la Universidad de Caldas, anunciaron que el modelo de la  Ruta de la Telemedicina de Caldas ser\u00eda utilizado para llevar atenci\u00f3n por telemedicina en zonas remotas de Francia. “Por m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os todo el equipo le ha entregado todo para que proyectos salgan adelante y la comunidad sea la que m\u00e1s se beneficie en temas de salud buscando mejorar la calidad de vida, la oportunidad en la atenci\u00f3n y sobre todo salvar vidas a trav\u00e9s de un uso responsable de la tecnolog\u00eda”, explic\u00f3 Esteban Granada, director de Telesalud. En Espa\u00f1a el proyecto, que incluye a Gobernaci\u00f3n de Caldas, direcci\u00f3n Territorial de Salud de Caldas y a la Universidad y su secci\u00f3n de Telesalud, recibir\u00e1 un reconocimiento por el manejo eficiente de la pandemia en Colombia. Hasta el momento m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de personas se han visto beneficiadas por el accionar de Telesalud Caldas en todo Colombia y alrededor de 340 mil solo en Caldas.
