Telemedicine continues to be strengthened in the state of San Luis Potos\u00ed, teleconsultations have managed to bring the population of remote communities and populations with limited access to health services closer to receiving quality care. In this way, saturation in outpatient services in General Hospitals is also avoided, and it also reduces patient costs in long transfers.<\/p>

Currently, telemedicine in San Luis has four main specialties, which are internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, and gynecology. Desde enero a la fecha se han realizado un total de mil 447 consultas por telemedicina en San Luis Potos\u00ed, lo que representa un ahorro de m\u00e1s de 6 millones de pesos para los pacientes, al evitar traslados a centros de salud y costos altos en consultas m\u00e9dicas. La telemedicina contin\u00faa fortaleci\u00e9ndose en el estado de San Luis Potos\u00ed, las teleconsultas han logrado acercar a la poblaci\u00f3n de comunidades y poblaciones remotas con limitado acceso a servicios de salud a recibir atenci\u00f3n de calidad. De esta forma tambi\u00e9n se evita la saturaci\u00f3n en servicios de consulta externa en Hospitales Generales, y adem\u00e1s reduce gastos de pacientes en traslados largos. Actualmente la telemedicina en San Luis, cuenta con cuatro especialidades principales, que son medicina interna, pediatr\u00eda, cirug\u00eda y ginecolog\u00eda. Adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1n disponibles tambi\u00e9n m\u00e1s de 15 subespecialidades como neuropediatr\u00eda, psiquiatr\u00eda, perinatolog\u00eda, neurolog\u00eda, entre otras. Entre ocho hospitales B\u00e1sicos Comunitarios, 11 centros de salud CEREDI y CREE, y el Hospital Central, se encuentran las 28 unidades de videoconferencia para realizar las teleconsultas. Estos centros de salud forman parte de la red de hospitales de Telesalud del estado de San Luis Potos\u00ed. Por otra parte, este a\u00f1o se implement\u00f3 un programa piloto para que las trabajadoras sociales agenden citas con especialistas en el Hospital Central a trav\u00e9s de tel\u00e9fonos m\u00f3viles. Este sistema busca la reducci\u00f3n de faltas por parte de los pacientes a sus consultas, quienes reciben en su correo electr\u00f3nico actualizaciones constantes sobre sus citas m\u00e9dicas. A trav\u00e9s de procesos de an\u00e1lisis de datos, el sistema tiene como prop\u00f3sito mejorar la eficiencia, reducir faltas de pacientes, y agilizar los procesos de agenda de citas para liberar la carga de trabajo de las trabajadoras sociales.
