Thanks to the work of more than 300 professionals who provide teleconsultations, the public health system in Jujuy, Argentina, carried out 169 thousand 786 in the first six months of 2021.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In the province of Jujuy in Argentina, they have implemented since March 2020, a Digital Health service to provide remote care during times of social distancing. Despite the gradual reopening, the system continues to function and serve the population that requires it, through telemedicine and teleconsultations. Care is provided through Zoom video calls.<\/p>

From January to June 2021, the telecare team provided 6,834 general medicine consultations; 1,047 tele-dentistry services, 4,565 mental health consultations, of which 80 were for adolescents and 505 were through the telephone line; and finally 466 services that resolved doubts about COVID-19 and 156 thousand 869 follow-ups to positive and symptomatic patients to COVID-19. Recently the system has added new specialties such as telenursing and telenutrition.<\/p>

Training and promotion of telehealth<\/strong><\/p>

On the other hand, from April to July of this year, the Jujuy Digital Health team taught the course: Introduction to telehealth for its application in public services in the Province of Jujuy\u201d, which aimed to share the experiences lived from March 2020 and promote the use of telemedicine and this type of medical care modality.<\/p>

The course was divided into four modules and achieved the participation of more than 900 virtual attendees. Topics included the historical contextualization of telehealth; telehealth concepts and terms; technical and professional aspects; remote care for COVID-19 patients, among others.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Gracias al trabajo de m\u00e1s de 300 profesionales que brindan teleconsultas, el sistema p\u00fablico de salud en Jujuy, Argentina, realiz\u00f3 169 mil 786 en los primeros seis meses de 2021. En la provincia de Jujuy en Argentina, implementaron desde marzo de 2020, un servicio de Salud Digital para brindar atenci\u00f3n a distancia durante los tiempos de distanciamiento social. A pesar de la reapertura gradual, el sistema contin\u00faa funcionando y atendiendo a la poblaci\u00f3n que lo requiera, a trav\u00e9s de telemedicina y teleconsultas.  La atenci\u00f3n se brinda a trav\u00e9s de videollamadas por Zoom. De enero a junio de 2021, el equipo de teleasistencia brind\u00f3 6 mil 834 consultas de medicina general; mil 47 atenciones de tele odontolog\u00eda, 4 mil 4565 consultas en salud mental, de las cuales 80 fueron para adolescentes y 505 fueron a trav\u00e9s de la l\u00ednea telef\u00f3nica; y finalmente 466 atenciones que resolvieron dudas sobre COVID-19 y 156 mil 869 seguimientos a pacientes positivos y sintom\u00e1ticos a COVID-19. Recientemente el sistema ha a\u00f1adido nuevas especialidades como la tele enfermer\u00eda y tele nutrici\u00f3n. Todas las consultas son gratuitas. El curso fue dividido en cuatro m\u00f3dulos y logr\u00f3 la participaci\u00f3n de m\u00e1s de 900 asistentes virtuales.
