The Family Medical Units (UMF) No. 5, 15 and 16, of the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) in Quer\u00e9taro, will offer medical care through telemedicine, to follow up on patients with COVID-19.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

IMSS will provide telemedicine follow-up consultations to patients who have tested positive for COVID-19. The objective is to monitor and accompany patients in their homes in a virtual and remote way, and prevent them from leaving their homes, while they are taking the disease and recovering.<\/p>

Entitlements with mild symptoms who have positive results for COVID-19 and who are registered by IMSS as an outpatient will receive instructions to receive video calls through Teams.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

UMF No. 5, 15 and 16 will be in charge of bringing this program to IMSS beneficiaries. Previously, this telemonitoring service was only carried out through telephone calls, however, the option of video calls has been added for patients who have an Internet connection at home.<\/p>

Las Unidades M\u00e9dicas Familiares (UMF) No. 5, 15 y 16, del Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) en Quer\u00e9taro, ofrecer\u00e1n atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a trav\u00e9s de telemedicina, para dar seguimiento a pacientes con COVID-19. El IMSS brindar\u00e1 consultas de seguimiento por telemedicina a pacientes que hayan arrojado resultados positivos en pruebas de COVID-19. El objetivo es monitorear y dar acompa\u00f1amiento a los pacientes en sus hogares de manera virtual y remota, y evitar que salgan de su domicilio, mientras cursan la enfermedad y se recuperan. Los derechohabientes con s\u00edntomas leves que cuenten con resultados positivos de COVID-19 y que el IMSS registre como paciente ambulatorio, recibir\u00e1 indicaciones para recibir videollamadas a trav\u00e9s de Teams. Las UMF No. 5, 15 y 16, ser\u00e1n las encargadas de llevar este programa a los derechohabientes del IMSS. Previamente este servicio de telemonitoreo solo se realizaba a trav\u00e9s de llamadas telef\u00f3nicas, sin embargo, se ha a\u00f1adido la opci\u00f3n de videollamadas, para los pacientes que cuentan con conexi\u00f3n a internet en sus hogares. El usuario deber\u00e1 instalar la aplicaci\u00f3n mencionada en su tel\u00e9fono m\u00f3vil para acceder a las teleconsultas con el m\u00e9dico y continuar su monitoreo remoto.
