The various strategies of local and national health authorities in Colombia during the pandemic include remote clinical care, delivery of medicines, telemonitoring of suspected cases of COVID-19, specialized medical care, among others.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Colombia has carried out various actions in response to the pandemic, including virtual care and telehealth tools such as mobile applications and teleconsultations. In 2020, the Ministry of Health and Social Protection enabled the use of timely services carried out through teleconsultations, after the approval of resolution 521.<\/p>

In this way, Moscoso announced that the total of actions related to remote care that were completed until July of this year reached 151 million, of which 79% corresponded to intentions of pathologies not related to COVID-19.\u00a0<\/p>

\u201cWe are beginning to have results in those special groups such as cancer patients, patients in palliative care and with other kidney diseases, and in general the entire non-COVID respiratory group, achieving 119,970,563 visits,\u201d he explained.<\/p>

On the other hand, thanks to the approval of the same resolution, the Ministry of Health guaranteed the delivery of medical formulas at home. Las diversas estrategias de las autoridades sanitarias locales y nacionales en Colombia durante la pandemia, incluyen atenci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica a distancia, entrega de medicinas, telemonitoreo a casos sospechosos de COVID-19, atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica especializada, entre otras. De esta forma Moscoso anunci\u00f3 que el total de acciones relacionadas con la atenci\u00f3n a distancia que se completaron hasta julio de este a\u00f1o alcanz\u00f3 los 151 millones, de las cuales 79% correspondieron a intenciones de patolog\u00edas no relacionadas con COVID-19.  \u201cEmpezamos a tener resultados en aquellos grupos especiales como los pacientes con c\u00e1ncer, pacientes en cuidado paliativo y con otras enfermedades renales y en general todo el grupo respiratorio no COVID, logrando 119,970,563 atenciones\u201d, explic\u00f3.
