The Ministry of Health (Minsa) announced the implementation of electronic prescription services in patients treated through telemedicine by the digital platform Teleatente.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The process of digitalization of health services in Peru continues, this time it is the implementation of the electronic medical prescription. This service will be available to people who receive medical attention by telemedicine through the Teleattending Assistance Information System: https:\/\/teleatiendo.minsa.gob.pe\/<\/a><\/p>

The Minsa seeks to reduce to zero the use of sheets of paper in situations where digital technologies can work as a substitute, in this case printed or handwritten medical prescriptions can be replaced by a digital document.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

There are currently more than 8,000 medical professionals registered in the Teleattending system, corresponding to 1,048 health establishments. Now, the electronic medical prescription of Teleattending, will allow doctors, dentists or obstetricians, who provide remote care through teleconsultations, to prescribe medications to their patients.<\/p>

Thanks to this platform, it is possible to reduce waiting times and avoid long transfers to receive specialized medical attention and also avoid risks of contagion from COVID-19.<\/p>

Until June of this year, the platform has completed more than 1.5 million teleconsultation, teleorientation and telemonitoring services throughout the country.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

El Ministerio de Salud (Minsa), anunci\u00f3 la implementaci\u00f3n de servicios de receta electr\u00f3nica en pacientes atendidos a trav\u00e9s de telemedicina por la plataforma digital Teleatiendo. El proceso de digitalizaci\u00f3n de los servicios de salud en Per\u00fa sigue en marcha, esta vez se trata de la implementaci\u00f3n de la receta m\u00e9dica electr\u00f3nica. Este servicio estar\u00e1 disponible para las personas que reciben atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica por telemedicina a trav\u00e9s del Sistema de Informaci\u00f3n Asistencial Teleatiendo: https:\/\/teleatiendo.minsa.gob.pe\/ El Minsa busca reducir a cero el uso de hojas de papel en situaciones que las tecnolog\u00edas digitales pueden funcionar como sustituto, en este caso las prescripciones m\u00e9dicas impresas o escritas a mano podr\u00e1n ser remplazadas por un documento digital. \u201cEstamos llevando a cabo distintas acciones para fortalecer los servicios de la telemedicina, este es uno de ellos porque facilita al usuario el acceso a los medicamentos que requiere\u201d, explic\u00f3 el ministro de salud \u00d3scar Ugarte. Actualmente hay m\u00e1s de 8 mil profesionales m\u00e9dicos registrados en el sistema de Teleatiendo, que corresponden a mil 48 establecimientos de salud. Ahora, la receta m\u00e9dica electr\u00f3nica de Teleatiendo, permitir\u00e1 que los m\u00e9dicos, odont\u00f3logos u obstetras, que brindan atenci\u00f3n remota por teleconsultas prescriban medicamentos a sus pacientes. Gracias a esta plataforma es posible reducir los tiempos de espera y evitar traslados largos para recibir atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica especializada y adem\u00e1s evitar riesgos de contagio de COVID-19. Hasta junio de este a\u00f1o la plataforma ha completado m\u00e1s de 1.5 millones de atenciones por teleconsulta, teleorientaci\u00f3n y telemonitoreo en todo el pa\u00eds.
