In response to the pandemic, in mid-2020, the Government of the state of Baja California Sur (BCS), enabled a self-diagnosis web application for COVID-19 patients and a COVID-19 call center.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Between the self-diagnosis web platform and the call center, they have provided remote care to 125,837 people during the health emergency.<\/p>

Through the web tool, it was possible to identify more than 13,000 suspected cases of COVID-19 and carry out remote monitoring of possible carriers, to monitor them and learn about the evolution of the disease or rule out the case. On the other hand, through the attention center, a little more than 30 thousand suspected cases were detected.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In addition to remote monitoring and self-diagnosis services, the state government implemented a telemedicine program "with the aim of improving the health of people suspected of having coronavirus and patients who suffer from it," they explained.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In total, 43,452 telemedicine consultations were carried out, with La Paz and Los Cabos being the municipalities with the largest number of services provided, with 25,751 and 15,200, respectively.<\/p>

The patients identified as positive for COVID-19 through remote monitoring have been counted, and at the moment (August 11), there are 1,710 active cases and more than 35,000 recovered.<\/p>

En respuesta a la pandemia, a mediados del 2020, el Gobierno del estado de Baja California Sur (BCS), habilit\u00f3 una aplicaci\u00f3n web de autodiagn\u00f3stico de pacientes COVID-19 y un centro de atenci\u00f3n telef\u00f3nica COVID-19. Entre la plataforma web de autodiagn\u00f3stico y el centro de atenci\u00f3n telef\u00f3nica han brindado atenci\u00f3n a distancia a 125 mil 837 personas durante la emergencia sanitaria. A trav\u00e9s de la herramienta web fue posible identificar m\u00e1s de 13 mil casos sospechosos de COVID-19 y realizar monitoreos remotos a los posibles portadores, para darles seguimiento y conocer la evoluci\u00f3n de la enfermedad o descartar el caso. Por otra parte, a trav\u00e9s del centro de atenci\u00f3n se detectaron un poco m\u00e1s de 30 mil casos sospechosos. Adem\u00e1s de los servicios de monitoreo remoto y de autodiagn\u00f3stico, el gobierno del estado implement\u00f3 un programa de telemedicina \u201ccon la finalidad de mejorar la salud de las personas sospechosas de padecer coronavirus y de los pacientes que lo padecen\u201d, explicaron. En total fueron realizadas 43 mil 452 consultas por telemedicina, siendo La Paz y Los Cabos los municipios con la mayor cantidad de servicios prestados, con 25 mil 751 y 15 mil 200, respectivamente. Los pacientes identificados como positivos a COVID-19 a trav\u00e9s del seguimiento remoto han sido contabilizados, y al momento (11 de agosto), hay mil 71 casos activos y m\u00e1s de 35 mil recuperados.
