The Department of Health of the State of Amazonas (SES-AM), created the Telehealth program in November 2020. So far they have coverage of the 59% of the territory of the state, which corresponds to 16 municipalities.<\/p>

Having made great progress, the SES-AM, expects that in August 12 cities will provide this type of care to the population. Until Tuesday, July 20, 1,741 telemedicine services were carried out in seven medical specialties, the cities with the highest demand are L\u00e1brea, with 338 cases, followed by Barcelos, with 307, and Manaus, with 239.<\/p>

On the other hand, the service with the highest demand is cardiology with 386 consultations, followed by psychiatry with 346, adult neurology with 324 and pediatric neurology with 250.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\u201cWe have more than 1,700 consultations via teleconsultation, through the Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, offering seven specialties. Of the 27 municipalities selected by the program, 16 already use specialized services. The new municipalities that will join the program already have the necessary equipment to carry out teleconsultations, and will seek to connect the municipalities that have fiber optics in their health establishments.<\/p>

Teleconsultations will be scheduled through the National Regulatory System (Sisreg) and the program will be supported by the Support Program for Institutional Development of the Unified Health System (Proadi-SUS).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Actualmente 16 municipios del estado ofrecen atenci\u00f3n remota especializada a trav\u00e9s de telesalud El Departamento de Salud del Estado de Amazonas (SES-AM), cre\u00f3 el programa de Telesalud en noviembre de 2020.
