At the bottom of the bed there is a compressor that pumps up the chambers inside the mattress, where is located the system that determines which area of the mattress should receive the air.<\/p><p>The device has a bar code that contains the patient's medical history, as well as their height and weight. In this way it is possible to perform the pronation from an electronic device, whether it is a cell phone, tablet or laptop.<\/p><p>In a matter of minutes, the mattress inflates and changes the patient's position. A trav\u00e9s de esta t\u00e9cnica es posible mejorar la ventilaci\u00f3n pulmonar. Sin embargo, este procedimiento se realiza de manera manual, y ante la necesidad de que el personal de UCI, tenga menor contacto f\u00edsico con los pacientes para evitar contagios de COVID-19, desarroll\u00f3 este dispositivo tecnol\u00f3gico, con la cual obtuvo el Premio Nacional al Inventor Colombiano 2020. Alejandro Vargas Guti\u00e9rrez m\u00e9dico y maestro en epidemiolog\u00eda, trabaj\u00f3 en la iniciativa Robot 180\u00b0 para facilitar esta tarea al personal m\u00e9dico. \u201cHab\u00eda un agotamiento f\u00edsico del personal hospitalario, porque si pronar un paciente de 75 u 80 kilos es complejo, imag\u00ednese este procedimiento en \u00e1reas donde hay m\u00e1s de 20 pacientes\u201d. El dispositivo funciona a trav\u00e9s de un sistema aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico integrado en el colch\u00f3n. En la parte inferior de la cama cuenta con un compresor que infla las c\u00e1maras dentro del colch\u00f3n, donde se encuentra el sistema que determina que \u00e1rea del colch\u00f3n debe recibir el aire. El dispositivo cuenta con un c\u00f3digo de barras que cuenta con la historia cl\u00ednica del paciente, as\u00ed como su talla y peso. De esta forma es posible realizar la pronaci\u00f3n desde un dispositivo electr\u00f3nico, ya sea un celular, tableta o una laptop. En cuesti\u00f3n de minutos el colch\u00f3n se infla y cambia la posici\u00f3n del paciente.
