Originally the facial recognition system was intended to be used for security purposes, however, given the current situation, it will also be used to monitor the health of the more than 11,000 athletes who will participate. On the other hand, Japan's largest telecommunications company designed a software for mobile tracking of athletes, to alert about possible contagions and to trace the people with whom they had contact.<\/p>

Los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de Tokio 2020 fueron aplazados un a\u00f1o ante la emergencia sanitaria por COVID-19 y la falta de seguridad sanitaria para realizarlos en su fecha original. Adem\u00e1s, para cuidar que los atletas no rompan las medidas sanitarias dentro de la Villa Ol\u00edmpica, la organizaci\u00f3n brindar\u00e1 un brazalete a los deportistas, la cual monitorear\u00e1 los movimientos que realicen, para evitar que rompan con los protocolos.
