In response to the pandemic, the Peruvian Ministry of Health (Minsa) deployed several telehealth and telemedicine strategies to continue providing quality care to the population.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The General Directorate of Telehealth, Reference and Emergencies (Digtel) of the Minsa, in collaboration with the National School of Public Health (Ensap), began teaching the first diploma course in Telemedicine Management in Peru, which will last until November 15, 2021.<\/p>

The purpose of the course is to \"strengthen the skills and competencies of the healthcare personnel who provide and develop telehealth services in the Health Service Provider Institutions (Ipress) that make up the National Telehealth Network (RNT),\" explained the Minsa.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Fernando Carbone Campoverde, Minsa advisor, explained that Telehealth in Peru is part of the change and transformation of the health sector, so it is important to continue strengthening and advancing in the implementation of these services, especially at the first level of care.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The five-module diploma course includes topics related to telehealth regulations in Peru, recent advances and achievements in this sector at a national and international level, techniques and examples of technological governance, information security for users and patients, as well as personal data protection.<\/p>

In the current health emergency, it is important for professionals to have the appropriate training to provide services through telemedicine and bring medical care to remote communities.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

En respuesta a la pandemia el Ministerio de Salud de Per\u00fa (Minsa), despleg\u00f3 varias estrategias de telesalud y telemedicina para continuar brindando atenci\u00f3n de calidad a la poblaci\u00f3n. En Per\u00fa, la Direcci\u00f3n General de Telesalud, Referencia y Urgencias (Digtel) del Minsa, en colaboraci\u00f3n con la Escuela Nacional de Salud P\u00fablica (Ensap), comenzaron a impartir el primer diplomado en Gesti\u00f3n de la Telemedicina en el Per\u00fa, que tendr\u00e1 duraci\u00f3n hasta el 15 de noviembre de 2021. El objetivo del diplomado es \u201cfortalecer las capacidades y competencias del personal de salud que brinda y desarrolla los servicios de Telesalud en las Instituciones Prestadoras de Servicios en Salud (Ipress) que forman la Red Nacional de Telesalud (RNT)\u201d, explic\u00f3 el Minsa. Fernando Carbone Campoverde, asesor del Minsa explic\u00f3 que la Telesalud en Per\u00fa es parte del cambio y de la transformaci\u00f3n del sector salud, por lo que es importante seguir fortaleciendo y avanzando en la implementaci\u00f3n de estos servicios, especialmente lo de primer nivel de atenci\u00f3n. El diplomado de cinco m\u00f3dulos, incluye temas relacionados con la normatividad de la telesalud en Per\u00fa, los avances y logros recientes en este sector a nivel nacional e internacional, t\u00e9cnicas y ejemplos de gobernanza tecnol\u00f3gica, seguridad de la informaci\u00f3n de los usuarios y pacientes, as\u00ed como protecci\u00f3n de datos personales. Ante la emergencia sanitaria, es importante que los profesionales cuenten con la capacitaci\u00f3n adecuada para llevar a cabo la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios a trav\u00e9s de telemedicina, y llevar atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a comunidades remotas.
