As of July 1, all citizens of European Union (EU) member states will have to start using the Digital COVID Certificate for international travel.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The The EU Digital COVID Certificate<\/a> will work as a certified document using a QR code to prove that the user has received the COVID-19 vaccine and has a negative test for the disease. This will ease international travel within the EU, with no need to quarantine travelers arriving in other countries. It is a free application that will also be available in a printed version.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

As of July 1, all EU countries will have to adopt this measure to facilitate international travel without restrictions and with the assurance that infections will not increase. Since May 10, 22 EU countries have tested the application, of which seven have already started using it. The digital certificate was approved in a session of the European Parliament since May 20 of this year, and also obtained the support of the EU Regulatory Council, which was in charge of the technical aspects of this initiative. Therefore, the certificate is a reliable and secure system for the verification of COVID vaccination.<\/p>

Companies in the travel industry, such as travel agencies, airlines and others, have called for the lifting of restrictions and the opening of international borders in the EU. Their plans include the return of freedom of mobility in the EU, through the use of the Digital COVID Certificate.<\/p>

Desde el 1 de julio todos ciudadanos de los Estados miembros de la Uni\u00f3n Europea (UE), deber\u00e1n comenzar a utilizar el Certificado Digital COVID para realizar viajes internacionales. El Certificado Digital de COVID de la Uni\u00f3n Europea funcionar\u00e1 como una prueba certificada a trav\u00e9s de un c\u00f3digo QR, para comprobar que el usuario ha recibido la vacuna contra COVID-19 y cuenta con una prueba negativa de la enfermedad. Esto facilitar\u00e1 los viajes internacionales dentro de la UE, sin necesidad de aplicar cuarentena a los viajeros que llegan a otros pa\u00edses. Se trata de una aplicaci\u00f3n gratuita que adem\u00e1s tambi\u00e9n contar\u00e1 con una versi\u00f3n impresa. Desde el 1 de julio todos los pa\u00edses de la UE deber\u00e1n adoptar esta medida para facilitar los viajes internacionales sin restricciones y con la seguridad de que los contagios no aumentar\u00e1n. Desde el 10 de mayo 22 pa\u00edses de la UE, han realizado pruebas de la aplicaci\u00f3n de los cuales siete ya han comenzado a utilizarla. Habitantes de Alemania, Croacia, Bulgaria, Dinamarca, Grecia, Polonia y Rep\u00fablica Checa han empezado a utilizar este sistema digital. El certificado digital fue aprobado en sesi\u00f3n del Parlamento Europeo desde el 20 de mayo de este a\u00f1o, adem\u00e1s obtuvo el respaldo del Consejo de Regulaci\u00f3n de la UE, quienes se encargaron de los aspectos t\u00e9cnicos de esta iniciativa. Por lo tanto, el certificado se trata de un sistema confiable y seguro para la verificaci\u00f3n de la vacunaci\u00f3n COVID. Compa\u00f1\u00edas de la industria del turismo como agencias de viaje, aerol\u00edneas entre otras, han pedido que se levanten las restricciones y se abran las fronteras internacionales en la UE.\u00a0 En sus planes incluye el regreso de la libertad de movilidad en la UE, a trav\u00e9s del uso del Certificado Digital COVID. Despu\u00e9s del 1 de julio la UE, brindar\u00e1 una pr\u00f3rroga de seis semanas en la expedici\u00f3n de certificados Digitales para aquellos pa\u00edses que requerir\u00e1n de m\u00e1s tiempo para implementar esta tecnolog\u00eda.
