On April 15, the World Health Organization (WHO) held the seventh meeting of the Emergency Committee of the International Health Regulations (IHR). The meeting established the creation of a digital Documentation of COVID-19 certificates.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

At the meeting they reached an agreement on the standardization of documentation in physical and digital format of COVID-19 travel-related risk reduction measures. The Emergency Committee suggested that WHO should: \u201cContinue to update the WHO interim position on the considerations regarding requirements of proof of vaccination and to produce interim guidance and tools related to standardization of paper and digital documentation of COVID-19 travel-related risk reduction measures in the context of international travel.\u201d<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This will rename the Smart Vaccination Certificate that WHO had raised since last year to Digital Documentation of COVID-19 Certificates (DDCC). New guidance on this document will be published in three separate parts, which will help Member States know how to digitally structure the status of COVID-19 vaccination in their territories.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

\"These guidance documents will include critical components such as the minimum datasets, expected functionality of digital systems, and preferred terminology code systems,\" WHO explained. They will also include information on the digital architecture that exists in each country, taking into account HL7 and FHIR Implementation Guides.<\/p>

They also announced that the Smart Vaccination Certificate Working Group will be disbanded as the new technical requirements for the DDCC and those of the group do not match each other. El 15 de abril la Organizaci\u00f3n Mundial de la Salud (OMS) realiz\u00f3 la s\u00e9ptima reuni\u00f3n del Comit\u00e9 de Emergencia del Reglamento Sanitario Internacional (RSI). En dicha reuni\u00f3n se estableci\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de una Documentaci\u00f3n digital de certificados COVID-19. En la reuni\u00f3n llegaron a un acuerdo sobre la estandarizaci\u00f3n de la documentaci\u00f3n en formato f\u00edsico y digital de las medidas de reducci\u00f3n de riesgos relacionados con los viajes de COVID-19. El Comit\u00e9 de Emergencia sugiri\u00f3 que la OMS debe: \u201ccontinuar actualizando la posici\u00f3n provisional de la OMS sobre las consideraciones relativas a los requisitos de prueba de vacunaci\u00f3n y para producir orientaci\u00f3n y herramientas provisionales relacionadas con la estandarizaci\u00f3n de la documentaci\u00f3n en papel y digital de las medidas de reducci\u00f3n de riesgos relacionados con los viajes de COVID-19 en el contexto de viajes internacionales\u201d. De esta forma el Certificado de vacunaci\u00f3n inteligente que la OMS hab\u00eda planteado desde el a\u00f1o pasado, pasar\u00e1 a llamarse Documentaci\u00f3n digital de certificados COVID-19 (DDCC). Las nuevas gu\u00edas sobre este documento se publicar\u00e1n en tres partes separadas, que ayudar\u00e1n a que Estados Miembros conozcan como estructurar digitalmente el estado de la vacunaci\u00f3n contra COVID-19 en sus territorios. “Estos documentos de orientaci\u00f3n incluir\u00e1n componentes cr\u00edticos como los conjuntos de datos m\u00ednimos, la funcionalidad esperada de los sistemas digitales y los sistemas de c\u00f3digos de terminolog\u00eda preferidos”, explic\u00f3 la OMS. Tambi\u00e9n incluir\u00e1n informaci\u00f3n sobre la arquitectura digital que existe en cada pa\u00eds, tomando en cuenta Gu\u00edas de implementaci\u00f3n de HL7 y FHIR. De igual forma anunciaron que el Grupo de Trabajo del Certificado de Vacunaci\u00f3n Inteligente ser\u00e1 disuelto ya que los nuevos requisitos t\u00e9cnicos para la DDCC y los del grupo no coinciden entre s\u00ed.
