elementor-size-default\">Students from the National College of Technical Professional Education (Conalep), campus I of Veracruz, developed a robot they called \u201cConi-1 robocovid\u201d, which will guide the monitoring of sanitary measures before the future return to face-to-face classes in the campus I of Conalep Veracruz, students of Industrial Electronics and Electronic Systems Maintenance, created the \u201cConi-1 robocovid\u201d, a robot that is able to take the body temperature, apply sanitizer and identify students as they enter the facilities.<\/p><p>One of the goals of the robot is to reduce the exposure of security staff when applying sanitary measures and to students from the fourth and sixth semesters of the aforementioned careers. In addition, they had the help of two of their professors, who helped them to obtain brake linings, shock absorbers and other scrap parts from an automotive mechanic workshop, to use them in the assembly of the robot. The robot is 1.8 meters tall and 90% of its structure is made of recycled electronic components<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>The young students' creation, Coni-1 robocovid, has a radio frequency identification (RFID) card, which allows students entering the school's facilities to be identified. \u201cThe purpose (of the robot) is to help us take the temperature of people entering the school and it also has an RFID card with which a roll call can be made, thus avoiding exposing people to the virus,\u201d explained Edith Martinez, professor at Conalep I.<\/p><p>The robot has a voice recording that indicates the steps to follow to enter the campus: show identification and bring it close to the RFID card, and receive the sanitizer in the body that the robot expels through its limbs.<\/p><p>In this way, thanks to the talent and creativity of its students, Conalep I of Veracruz is getting ready to welcome back its students, teachers and Ante el posible regreso a clases en el plantel I del Conalep Veracruz, alumnos de las carreras de Electr\u00f3nica Industrial y Mantenimiento de Sistemas Electr\u00f3nicos, crearon el &#8220;Coni-1 robocovid&#8221;, un robot que es capaz de tomar la temperatura, aplicar sanitizante e identificar a los estudiantes en su ingreso a las instalaciones. Uno de los prop\u00f3sitos del robot es disminuir la exposici\u00f3n del personal de seguridad al aplicar las medidas sanitarias y evitar posibles contagios al tomar la temperatura de los alumnos. El robot fue desarrollado y armado por un equipo de cuatro alumnos de cuarto y sexto semestre de las carreras antes mencionadas. Adem\u00e1s, cont\u00f3 con la ayuda de dos de sus profesores, quienes apoyaron a conseguir balatas, amortiguadores, y otras piezas de desecho de un taller mec\u00e1nico automotriz, para utilizarlas en el armado del robot. El robot mide 1.8 metros de altura y el 90% de su estructura est\u00e1 hecha de componentes electr\u00f3nicos reciclados. La creaci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes estudiantes, Coni-1 robocovid cuenta con una tarjeta de identificaci\u00f3n por radiofrecuencia (RFID, en ingl\u00e9s), que permite identificar a los alumnos que ingresen a las instalaciones del colegio. \u201cLa finalidad (del robot) es que nos ayude en tomarle la temperatura sanitar a las personas que entran y aparte tiene una tarjeta de RFID con el cual se puede hacer un pase de lista, con esto se evita exponer a personas para adquirir el virus\u201d, explic\u00f3 la profesora Edith Mart\u00ednez. El robot cuenta con una grabaci\u00f3n de voz que indica los pasos a seguir para ingresar al plantel: mostrar la identificaci\u00f3n y acercarla a la tarjeta RFID, y recibir el sanitizante en el cuerpo que el mismo robot expulsa a trav\u00e9s de sus extremidades.
