The Telehealth Observatory of the National Center for Technological Excellence in Health (CENETEC) published the report on Telehealth actions in Mexico carried out by State Governments Health services during 2020.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

CENETEC conducted a report on the number and type of telehealth actions implemented in state health services during the period January-November 2020. The number and types of services offered during 2020 were undoubtedly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. 5,741,033 was the total number of telehealth actions during 2020 in 20 states that registered their data.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Of the more than 5 million services, 1,527,281 corresponded to \"COVID-19 remote medical advice\", according to the Telehealth Observatory document, being this action the most recurrent. The second most used type of action was \"COVID-19 Triage or remote filter actions\", with nearly 1,100,000 services provided.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The remaining services and actions provided were as follows: Remote follow-up, remote medical advice, remote monitoring, tele-education, COVID-19 remote interconsultation, remote triage or filter NON-COVID-19 actions, specialty and subspecialty teleconsultation, service coordination and remote visit pass.<\/p>

The specialties with the highest number of teleconsultations were internal medicine with 46.8% and psychiatry with 30.3%. The remaining specialties were gynecology-obstetrics with 11.2%, surgery with 6.8% and pediatrics with 4.8%.<\/p>

The state with the highest number of telehealth services provided was Guanajuato with 39.3% of the total number of consultations nationwide, followed by Sonora with 12.6% and Hidalgo with 9.6%.<\/p>

El Observatorio de Telesalud del Centro Nacional de Excelencia Tecnol\u00f3gica en Salud (CENETEC) public\u00f3 el informe de acciones de Telesalud en M\u00e9xico realizadas por gobiernos estatales de salud durante 2020. El CENETEC realiz\u00f3 un informe sobre el n\u00famero y tipo de acciones de telesalud implementadas en los servicios estatales de salud durante el periodo enero-noviembre 2020. La cantidad y los tipos de servicios ofrecidos durante el 2020, sin duda se vieron afectados por la pandemia de COVID-19. 5,741,033 fue el n\u00famero total de acciones en telesalud durante 2020 en 20 entidades federativas que registraron sus datos. De los m\u00e1s de 5 millones de servicios, 1,527,281 correspondieron a “Asesor\u00eda m\u00e9dica a distancia COVID-19”, seg\u00fan explica el documento del Observatorio de Telesalud, siendo esta acci\u00f3n la m\u00e1s recurrente. El segundo tipo de acci\u00f3n m\u00e1s utilizado fue “Acciones COVID-19 Triage o filtro a distancia”, con cerca de 1 mill\u00f3n 100 mil servicios prestados. El resto de los servicios y acciones brindadas fueron los siguientes: Seguimiento a distancia, asesor\u00eda m\u00e9dica a distancia, monitoreo a distancia, teleeducaci\u00f3n, interconsulta a distancia COVID-19, acciones NO COVID-19 de triage o filtro a distancia, teleconsulta de especialidad y subespecialidad, coordinaci\u00f3n de servicios y pase de visita a distancia. Las especialidades con mayor n\u00famero de teleconsulta fueron Medicina interna con el 46.8% y psiquiatr\u00eda con 30.3%.
