However, there are still many limitations to its application, such as the lack of connectivity, infrastructure and a concrete agenda on Digital Health.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-4a2061f1 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default wpr-particle-no wpr-jarallax-no wpr-parallax-no wpr-sticky-section-no wpr-equal-height-no\" data-id=\"4a2061f1\" data-element_type=\"section\" data-e-type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-523af3b\" data-id=\"523af3b\" data-element_type=\"column\" data-e-type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-62abcce elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"62abcce\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In May 2020, in the context of the pandemic, the parliamentary group of the Green Ecologist Party (PVEM), in the Chamber of Deputies, proposed promoting remote medical care as an alternative in the face of the health emergency.<\/p><p>On the other hand, in the Senate, in October, Senator Alejandra Reynoso S\u00e1nchez presented a proposal to urge the Ministry of Health to present reports on the actions carried out by the National Center of Technological Excellence in Health (CENETEC). CENETEC is one of the main institutions in charge of promoting and disseminating telehealth at the Federal level through the Telehealth Observatory: <a href=\"https:\/\/cenetec-difusion.com\/observatoriotelesalud\/\">https:\/\/cenetec-difusion.com\/observatoriotelesalud\/<\/a>.<\/p><p>Also in October last year, the document \" Digital health, the legal and regulatory framework in Mexico. Advances and challenges\", written by Congressman \u00c9ctor Jaime Ram\u00edrez and Carlos Arias Guzm\u00e1n. In this document they conclude the following about the implementation of digital health services: \"Developing and strengthening the legal and regulatory framework for the operation of Digital Health components, will allow to take advantage of technologies in the development of strategies to promote the portability of health systems and services for the patient, that is, the possibility of receiving care where required and that clinical information is available for their care\".<\/p><p>Finally, CENETEC published the actions carried out regarding Telehealth in Mexico during 2020 (January-November). Uno de los antecedentes m\u00e1s importantes en materia de Salud Digital en M\u00e9xico sucedi\u00f3 en 2013, tras la publicaci\u00f3n de la reforma en telecomunicaciones. Esta reforma propici\u00f3 la creaci\u00f3n de la Estrategia Digital Nacional (EDN), que incluy\u00f3 entre sus objetivos &#8220;Salud Universal y Efectiva&#8221; que busc\u00f3 apoyarse en las tecnolog\u00edas para el desarrollo y promoci\u00f3n de la salud en el pa\u00eds, as\u00ed como la formaci\u00f3n de registros \u00fanicos de usuarios del sistema de salud, como los expedientes cl\u00ednicos electr\u00f3nicos (ECE) y la aplicaci\u00f3n de sistemas de telesalud y telemedicina. El brote de COVID-19 y la pandemia, propiciaron el auge de la telemedicina y telesalud en todo el mundo y M\u00e9xico no fue la excepci\u00f3n, sin embargo, existen a\u00fan muchas limitaciones para su aplicaci\u00f3n, como la falta de conectividad, infraestructura y una agenda concreta sobre Salud Digital. En mayo del 2020 en el contexto de la pandemia, el grupo parlamentario del Partido Verde Ecologista (PVEM), en la C\u00e1mara de Diputados, propuso impulsar la atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica a distancia, como una alternativa ante la emergencia sanitaria. Por otra parte, en el Senado, en octubre, la senadora Alejandra Reynoso S\u00e1nchez, present\u00f3 una propuesta para exhortar a la Secretar\u00eda de Salud a presentar informes sobre las acciones realizadas por el Centro Nacional de Excelencia Tecnol\u00f3gica en Salud (CENETEC). El CENETEC es una de las principales instituciones encargadas de la promoci\u00f3n y difusi\u00f3n e la telesalud a nivel Federal a trav\u00e9s del Observatorio de Telesalud: https:\/\/cenetec-difusion.com\/observatoriotelesalud\/. Tambi\u00e9n en octubre del a\u00f1o pasado fue publicado el texto &#8220;Salud digital el marco legal y regulatorio en M\u00e9xico. Avances y retos&#8221;, redactado por el diputado \u00c9ctor Jaime Ram\u00edrez y Carlos Arias Guzm\u00e1n. En este documento concluyen lo siguiente sobre la implementaci\u00f3n de servicios digitales en salud: &#8220;Desarrollar y fortalecer el marco legal y regulatorio para la operaci\u00f3n de componentes de la Salud Digital, permitir\u00e1 provechar las tecnolog\u00edas en el desarrollo de estrategias para impulsar la portabilidad de los sistemas y servicios de salud para el paciente, esto es, la posibilidad de recibir atenci\u00f3n donde lo requiera y que la informaci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica se encuentre disponible para su atenci\u00f3n&#8221;.
