The new hospital, located in the city of Quer\u00e9taro in Mexico's Baj\u00edo region, was inaugurated on February 26 this year and replaces the old hospital that had been providing services since 1963. <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The General Hospital of Quer\u00e9taro was renovated thanks to the investment of the Government of the State of Quer\u00e9taro and the Federal Government and its objective is to serve more than 2 million people in the region who do not have social security. The hospital has 31 specialties, 11 operating rooms, 32 medical offices and more than 120 beds, including 16 intensive care beds.<\/p>

The hospital has Imaging and Telemedicine services, which have implemented a system of Digitalization, Storage and Distribution of medical images. In addition, they are linked to a Telehealth network that involves more hospitals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The network has three teams of professionals who perform different tasks to reduce the waiting time of patients requiring diagnosis or treatment: Modalities: Consists of the equipment that generates the images; Servers: refers to the equipment that stores and distributes the information; and Viewers: the equipment that interprets or consults the studies.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Additionally, telemedicine services promote the use of technologies for remote care, avoiding transfers, which in some cases could be unnecessary.<\/p>

The image digitalization system is configured in all the hospital equipment, so it is possible to generate direct digital images without any interfaces. The telemedicine service consists in the first instance of an appointment with a general practitioner, who then connects remotely with a specialist so that the patient receives the teleconsultation. Subsequently, the patient receives indications and finally the specialist makes the relevant notes that are stored on a server to keep a record of patients for future consultations.<\/p>

The pharmacy even has a medicine dispensing robot to control patient doses and save on medical supplies.<\/p>

The construction of this hospital required an investment of 967 million 656 thousand 150 pesos from the federal and state governments. El Nuevo Hospital ubicado en la ciudad de Quer\u00e9taro en el baj\u00edo mexicano, fue inaugurado el 26 de febrero de este a\u00f1o y remplaza al antiguo hospital que brind\u00f3 servicios desde 1963. El hospital cuenta con 31 especialidades, once salas de cirug\u00eda, 32 consultorios m\u00e9dicos y m\u00e1s de 120 camas, 16 de terapia intensiva. El hospital cuenta con servicios de Imagenolog\u00eda y Telemedicina, los cuales han implementado un sistema de Digitalizaci\u00f3n, Almacenamiento y Distribuci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes m\u00e9dicas. Adem\u00e1s, se encuentran vinculados a una red de Telesalud que involucra a m\u00e1s hospitales. La red cuenta con tres equipos de profesionales que realizan diferentes labores para reducir el tiempo de espera de los pacientes que requieren un diagn\u00f3stico o tratamiento: Modalidades: Consiste en los equipos que generan las im\u00e1genes; Servidores: Referente a los equipos que se encargan del almacenamiento y distribuci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n; y Visualizadores: los equipos que desempe\u00f1an labores de interpretaci\u00f3n o consulta de los estudios. Adicionalmente, los servicios de telemedicina promueven el uso de tecnolog\u00edas para la atenci\u00f3n remota, evitando traslados, que en algunos casos podr\u00edan resultar innecesarios. El sistema de digitalizaci\u00f3n de im\u00e1genes esta configurado en todos los equipos del hospital, por lo que es posible generar im\u00e1genes digitales directas sin necesidad de interfaces. El servicio de telemedicina consiste en primera instancia una cita con un m\u00e9dico general, quien posteriormente se conecta de manera remota con un especialista para que el paciente reciba la teleconsulta. Posteriormente, el paciente recibe indicaciones y finalmente el especialista realiza las anotaciones pertinentes que se almacenan en un servidor para llevar un registro de los pacientes para pr\u00f3ximas consultas. Incluso la farmacia cuenta un robot dispensador de medicamentos para controlar las dosis a los pacientes y ahorrar insumos m\u00e9dicos.
