Medical specialists from the state of Chihuahua, Mexico, believe that the progress made during the pandemic in terms of the adoption of digital technologies represented ten years of advances.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Specialists from the College of Otorhinolaryngologists and the College of Physicians of Chihuahua, explained that the contribution of telemedicine during the pandemic has caused an advance that would have taken a decade under normal conditions.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Dr. El\u00edas Rodr\u00edguez Linares, president of the Chihuahua State College of Otorhinolaryngologists, explained in an interview with local media that patients with symptoms of COVID-19 have been seen by telephone and videoconference for rapid diagnosis and later testing to confirm or rule out the case.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On the other hand, Dr. Roberto Esteban Lopez Segura, Secretary of Acts of the Medical Association of Chihuahua, explained that the COVID-19 pandemic brought forward at least 10 years in the adoption of telemedicine in both patients and professionals. He also explained that about 90 to 95% of medical care can be resolved through remote services.<\/p>

Finally, Rodriguez Linares explained that, a year after the beginning of the pandemic, the medical profession already has experience and advanced knowledge of the disease and how to treat it, and he also highlighted the importance of tomography for an accurate diagnosis.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

M\u00e9dicos especialistas del estado de Chihuahua, consideran que el avance logrado durante la pandemia en cuanto a la adopci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas digitales represent\u00f3 diez a\u00f1os de avances. Especialistas del Colegio de M\u00e9dicos Otorrinolaring\u00f3logos y del Colegio de M\u00e9dicos de Chihuahua, explicaron que la aportaci\u00f3n de la telemedicina durante la pandemia ha provocado un avance que hubiera tomado una d\u00e9cada en condiciones normales.  El Dr. El\u00edas Rodr\u00edguez Linares, presidente del Colegio de M\u00e9dicos Otorrinolaring\u00f3logos del Estado de Chihuahua, explic\u00f3 en entrevista con un medio local, que pacientes con s\u00edntomas de COVID-19 han sido atendidos por tel\u00e9fono y videoconferencia para realizar un diagn\u00f3stico r\u00e1pido y posteriormente realizar una prueba que confirme o descarte el caso. En caso de pruebas positivas, explica \u201cla tomograf\u00eda nos pod\u00eda mandar ya im\u00e1genes a trav\u00e9s de su celular, o los diagn\u00f3sticos radiol\u00f3gicos y los resultados de las pruebas; y en ese momento ya no hay necesidad de ver a ese paciente, sino que le recomienda acudir a alg\u00fan hospital, o al centro m\u00e9dico”. Por otra parte, el Dr. Roberto Esteban L\u00f3pez Segura, secretario de Actas del Colegio de M\u00e9dicos de Chihuahua, explic\u00f3 que la pandemia por COVID-19 adelant\u00f3 al menos 10 a\u00f1os en la adopci\u00f3n de telemedicina tanto en pacientes como en profesionales. Adem\u00e1s, explic\u00f3 que cerca del 90 al 95% de las atenciones m\u00e9dicas se pueden resolver a trav\u00e9s de servicios remotos. Finalmente, Rodr\u00edguez Linares, explic\u00f3 que, a un a\u00f1o del comienzo de la pandemia, el gremio m\u00e9dico ya cuenta con experiencia y existen conocimientos avanzados sobre la enfermedad y c\u00f3mo tratarla, de igual forma resalt\u00f3 la importancia de la tomograf\u00eda para realizar un diagn\u00f3stico preciso.
