The Secretariat of Health of Chihuahua, Mexico reported that they have performed 138,069 attentions through \"Salud Digital Chihuahua\" mobile app, which offers monitoring and registration of COVID-19 cases in the region, and that they have provided services to more than 138,000 people.<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The medical director of the Northern Zone of the Secretariat of Health, Arturo Valenzuela, reported that they have more than 138 thousand registered users in the mobile application. Through the application, which was launched in April last year, the state health authorities have managed to monitor and register cases of COVID-19 in the state.<\/p>

The application is available on PlayStore and App Store mobile and has registered more than 50,000 downloads on Android devices.<\/p>

The tool has been extremely useful since its creation as it has detected suspected cases that were later positive and has also ruled out cases of possible infection. Through the application, users shared their symptoms, which were categorized through an epidemiological risk assessment using a traffic light system, similar to the scheme used by the Mexican government to apply restrictions on social mobility.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The red and orange colors represent the high and medium risk of being infected, according to the symptoms presented. Subsequently, they received medical attention and remote medical support. Likewise, another 3,492 people were classified as yellow, moderate risk, and 7,041 as green, meaning there is no COVID-19 infection risk.<\/p>

Valenzuela also highlighted the work carried out by the COVID monitors; a volunteer program launched by the State Government to cut the chain of contagion. La Secretar\u00eda de Salud del estado de Chihuahua inform\u00f3 que han realizado 138 mil 69 atenciones a trav\u00e9s de la aplicaci\u00f3n Salud Digital Chihuahua, que ofrece monitoreo y registro de casos COVID-19 en la entidad. El director m\u00e9dico de la Zona Norte de la Secretar\u00eda de Salud, Arturo Valenzuela, inform\u00f3 que cuentan con m\u00e1s de 138 mil usuarios registrados en la aplicaci\u00f3n m\u00f3vil. A trav\u00e9s la aplicaci\u00f3n que fue lanzada en abril del a\u00f1o pasado, las autoridades de salud del estado, han logrado monitorear y registrar casos de COVID-19 en la entidad. La aplicaci\u00f3n disponible en las tiendas de aplicaciones m\u00f3viles PlayStore y App Store y registra m\u00e1s de 50 mil descargas en dispositivos Android. La herramienta ha sido de suma utilidad desde su creaci\u00f3n pues se han detectado casos sospechosos que posteriormente fueron positivos y tambi\u00e9n se han descartado casos de posible contagio. A trav\u00e9s de la aplicaci\u00f3n usuarios compartieron sus s\u00edntomas, por lo que fueron categorizados a trav\u00e9s de un sem\u00e1foro de riesgo epidemiol\u00f3gico, similar al esquema utilizado por el gobierno de M\u00e9xico para aplicar restricciones de apertura econ\u00f3mica y movilidad. El color rojo y naranja representan los riesgos alto y medio, respectivamente, de estar contagiado, debido a la sintomatolog\u00eda presentada. A trav\u00e9s de esta categorizaci\u00f3n fueron identificadas mediante la aplicaci\u00f3n a 7 mil 049 personas con riesgo alto y medio. Posteriormente recibieron asesor\u00eda y apoyo m\u00e9dico a distancia. \u00a0Asimismo, otras 3 mil 492 personas fueron catalogadas dentro del color amarillo, riesgo moderado y 7 mil 041 como color verde, es decir nulo riesgo de COVID-19. Valenzuela tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 el trabajo realizado por los monitores COVID, un programa de voluntariado lanzado por el Gobierno del Estado para cortar la cadena de contagios. Ya que se ha visto reflejado en las cifras a la baja en contagios y fallecimientos de las \u00faltimas semanas.
